Hi all! quick question about Sioree night.

I know adults are allowed to dress up in costume in the park, but if the costume is too 'real' could they refuse entry? We are going as Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, however my partner wants to basically cosplay his Flynn so it's JUST like the movie (custom made kind of job)

Neither of us will wear a wig or anything (I plan on getting blonde extensions clipped in but nothing like the length of the parks), and his hair is much darker than Flynn's, but I'm concerned we'll get into trouble if it is too similar to the parks costume?

Also don't fancy being swamped by parents families throwing their children in front of us for pictures when they don't understand we are guests and not characters. Would put up with it for spot on costumes and showing people our wrist band, but the last thing I want is to get thrown out if CM's don't believe we aren't doing it on purpose.

In their information regarding costumes for the night it says: "Guests who would like to wear a Disney Character costume commit to refrain from posing for photos and from signing autographs."

So it seems that cosplay it acceptable but you have to refuse any photo requests.

My friends are trying to get me to go as Russell from Up. I'm not sure about looking too real either, does anyone have pics of previous years and what the cosplayer type's looked like?

Since the Russell park character isn't a face character and  looks like this I think you'll be fine with him:
