On our 2012 trip, we took a pushchair for our then four year old son. He was mortified when he first found out and my husband moaned continuously on the Eurostar about having something else to drag around with us. But they both changed their mind pretty much immediately. It was an absolute Godsend. Whether it be to load it up with all of our bags instead of carrying them, or to put our son in when it got busy and it was easier to keep an eye on him, not to mention somewhere to put him other than on dad's shoulders when his little legs were all worn out.
