Is it only available if you're in the parks? I've tried it but it doesn't give me the option to book via the app, only to call by phone. I've got the latest version (even tried re-downloading it see if it made a difference). Very annoying

Just for fun, I had a look at DLP on Google Maps, and it got me thinking.
How much of the land in the area is owned by DLP?
Like for example all of the land inside of the circular road?

Hasn't had a lot of exposure on here so decided to break the ice and address it: The Disneyland Paris app now supports dining reservations without requiring anymore phone calls. It is due to go live when the parks reopen on July 15th, along with dining bookings on the Disneyland Paris website. I have seen it for myself through the app and website, however the 6 month availability is practically non-existent as the furthest dates go are September. Also only saw the online booking option for 3 dining locations, they have now all disappeared.

The process goes as follows:

- Select "Book a Table" on the restaurant's page.
- Choose the day you want to book a table for.
- Choose how many people will be in your party.
- Choose a time for the booking.
- Fill in your full name, first name and surname.
- Fill in a phone number, loads of international options.
- Fill in a email address.
- Fill in birth date.

Then that's it, you press "Confirm my reservation" and I assume the rest is history. Party sizes online are maxed at 6 members, more than 6 members requires calling the reservations phone line as before.

The app does have online dining reservations, the system is there but it does not go live until July 15th.

What's still missing:

Virtual Fastpasses & Tickets (more than just an app feature mind you)
Mobile Food Ordering
Virtual Queuing (looking at you, Lineberty)

The App is something that needs a lot of work.

Considering you can't make dining reservations on it yet, (something that is possible even for the small restaurant in our village can do)

It will be a while before you can make ordering food possible on it.

This is something I was hoping with Disney taking control of Disneyland Paris would change. The processes to booking and ordering in Disneyland Paris seem to be so antiquated compared to other parks. The button on the app to make dining reservations, that very cleverly opens a link to their phone number quite frankly in 2020 is laughable.

Can't wait!!

So far we have 1 day trip booked and a longer one planned (depending on how the one day goes...)

We've booked to go a Saturday in August (with our APs), we'll probably just drive there in the morning and drive back at night (3 hours drive from Luxembourg, so tiring but doable). And if all goes well we'll try a 2 or 3 night stay in September, before our daughter goes back to school.

Infection numbers are going up again here in Luxembourg since lockdown was eased (main issue seems to be big parties where people don't maintain distancing or wear masks) so we're hoping they don't start another lockdown or close the border again...

One surprising point in this week's re-opening announcement was that both The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands and Jungle Book Jive WILL return this year, later in the summer.
