Hi there! :)
Does anyone have any photos of any meals from DLP?
I'm going in August and I love Disney food! ;D
Here is a picture of my starter from Walt's in 2013 to get the ball rolling!

something like this. ;)
California Grill, September 2014, "The Temptation of Snow White" dessert.

Bar Fantasia, September 2014, "Blue Glow-Tini" cocktail.
Also have some of the dessert at L'Auberge from that visit, but it doesn't look particularly spectacular. ;)
Didn't take many food photos beyond these.

Exactly like that! ;D Thank you! I love a good cocktail. How did you find California Grill? Am trying to work out which restaurants to book and I hadn't considered that one. But I really want some new experiences this time.

The California Grill is what you'd expect from the fanciest restaurant on site. ;)
Wonderful atmosphere, impeccable service, lovely food. If you're near a window, a lovely view too.
I really enjoyed my meal there to be honest. :)
The menus are heavily customized apps on iPads.
It is however a very pricey restaurant.
If you're on the Premium Plan you have a separate set menu, that has some lovely choices, but the "cheapest" normal set of choices is the "Tinkerbell" menu, and that was €79 per person last September. That gives you half a dozen or so choices per course. The dessert shown above is from that particular menu.
I assume many things are seasonal, so there may well be a lot of variation in what's available. :)
We were given the half board plus plan when we booked. Can we use these vouchers towards paying for a meal at California Grill?

indeed you can, it's a normal Disney restaurant in that respect. :)
I did the same with my Premium voucher the 2nd time I dined there. I didn't feel like the Premium set menu again, and went with the Tinkerbell instead.
You simply pay the difference.
Also, despite it being a really fancy restaurant, there is no formal dress-code or anything. ;)
So as long as you don't arrive in your swim-clothes or something you'll be fine.
That's good to know! Thanks for the info :)

Yes – but expect to pay around €50 a person as the top-up payment!

Fab! Where is your favourite counter service place to eat?
I liked Pizzeria Bella Notte even though it was a bit slow to get to the till lol! ;)
Ooh - I've never tried that one!
We quite often end up in Toad Hall in the Disneyland Parc - always get a bit stumped in the studios (have tried the CS restaurants but they are always so busy!) and usually end up going into Disney Village instead!

I haven't sampled many of the counter service restaurants, but I did visit Hakuna Matata during my last visit.
It was really nice. Their African Chicken was a good portion and quite delicious. :)

In the studios I quite like "Restaurant des Stars." It's no quick service, but it's a nice buffet. :)

Blockbuster Café is usually OK but Restaurant en Coulisse tends to be jammed.

We often like Colonel Haithi (however you spell it haha) we went over new year & were entertained by traditional drum music. Kids love the mickey mouse shaped pizza.

It's basically roast beef and horseradish - absolutely delicious! It's the hot crusty bread that makes these sandwiches so special. Am determined to try something different this trip - maybe the one with turkey and cranberry?
Are the chicken strips at Hakuna Matata spiced/spicy?
I didn't much like the spices on the kebab burger so I rather ask before ordering :)

Nothing excessive from what I recall.
And with the African sauce (which is rather sweet), it certainly didn't come off as overly spicy. :)

Awww! You've got to love a Mickey shaped pizza! :D
Pretty sure that was Cowboy Cookout Barbeque, but normally you can get regular cheeseburger menus at most counter service places. I had one at Hyperion/Videopolis last October.
I think CCB is one of the few places that does them with wedges instead of fries though.
But if you're just interested in the burger, pretty much any fast food joint will be able to serve you one :)
Will definitely have to try CCB - I think my boyf would love it! Nice to have wedges for a change too!

hope they do still do them , not been there in a while...
How busy was Cowboy Cookout?
I have an aversion to packed out counter service restaurants! :P I know, I know...going to DLP in August means there are going to be lots of queues everywhere!
Cowboy Cookout is huge so does not get too overcrowded.

I totally agree, the only times I've seen it massively busy were always total peak season like Armstice Day or Halloween.
Aside from that I've never ever had an issue finding a table me and my friends didn't have to share with others :)

The one time I spent a birthday in Disneyland Paris, my husband and I didn't want to get the actual birthday cake, not just because of the price but mainly because it's HUGE and there was just no way the two of us could finish that without getting massively ill. So instead we went to Cable Car Bakeshop on Main Street and had that instead :)
Worked just as well for me, especially as I personally like strawberry pie MUCH better than chocolate cake :)

What a great idea! Tigger's birthday is the day we arrive and I really wanted to do something to mark it. Might have to swing by the bakeshop!

Yay! More food porn! :P
Where is this from please?
Fuente del Oro!
It's in Frontierland, right opposite the entrance of Big Thunder Mountain :)
They have tex mex, so you can find slightly different foods there (churros, flat fries like those in the photo, nachos, chilli, that sort of thing, at least, that's what they had when I last ate there, which is admittedly a few years ago).
I love Fuente del Oro!
I went there for the first time last visit. I had the chicken fajitas - it didn't look inspiring but it tasted great! And was a nice respite from burger and fries.
I also didn't realise there was plenty of indoor seating there too! Definitely going back there this time :D
This thread is making me hungry!!!
On the off chance does anyone have photos of any of the three meals at Bella Notte? I believe somewhere else has the exact same menu but I cannot remember the name of it...
Also, any more Annette's Diner pictures? If anyone has a picture of the veggie burger that'd be great but I'm not fussy - any old pictures of burgers will do to give me some idea of portion sizes!!
Also, what are the prices like of the McDonald's in Disney Village? Standard or do they hike up the price a little bit??
I'm not on my laptop but I may have some food pictures to share myself! (Although it's possible they could be from 2008!)
Any food pictures are gratefully received! ;D

Found these cute Cinderella chocolate squares (http://xn--yeahdisneylandresortparis-ju5o.tumblr.com/post/122762764626/talkdisney-after-dinner-praline-cinderella) on tumblr :)
It's lovely to see how far they take the theming in Auberge de Cendrillon, all the way to the chocolates!

A well rounded breakfast :P
I love all these food photos HildeKitten!
@komble, sorry didn't see your comment before. I don't think I have any photos of burgers at Annette's (I will have a look and post one later or tomorrow if I do!) but I would say that they're about more or less the same size as burgers at TGI Fridays :)

And here is some pastries from Market House Deli.
I am quite unimpressed by their pastries generally, they are so sweet that if you drink a soda afterwards it tastes like water!
Hmmmm....pastries :P
Starter and Dessert from The Steakhouse in Disney Village, very yummy indeed! Will try and remember to take more food pics on my next visit! 😉

That should turn it into a clickable link, but it's not a direct image file link, so embedding the image doesn't appear to work. Hilde can probably get a true shareable link from her account, but this is just a link to the correct page, not the photo. ;)
I don't even get a link to click on :'(
I wanna see the food! ;D

Lunch at Last Chance Café. Obviously I had half eaten the turkey leg before I remembered taking a photo, oops.
Normally it comes with a kind of sauce (can't remember which one though), but I asked for it without because I was worried would contain herbs I'm allergic to. At first they were saying it wasn't possible, but then someone else in the kitchen turned around, gave them a look and said it would be fine, so I got it without sauce :)
So if you don't want sauce and they tell you it's not possible, be insistent and point out allergies :) They just have to pour it on, so without is definitely an option.

On a similar note, if you want a the Bavarian Hot Dog without the Currywurst sauce at Au Chalet de Marionnette, it is possible. I like the bratwurst sausages but not the sauce so always ask for it sans sauce.
