The Standard reports to us that the direction of Hong-Kong Disneyland admitted that the number of visitors of the park lower than was discounted during the week of gold of May, and than from new measurements were going to be taken to give a blow of whip to the statistics for the summer which approaches.

Indeed, in spite of the taboo which floats normally around the figures of Disney, Bill Ernest announced that 5,6 million visitors who were awaited the park did not come in so great number. However, the park should accomodate more world this summer, with the opening of the park one hour later, until 21h, hour to which will be drawn fire from artifices.

But most important for the moment with the eyes of Bill Ernest is to answer the critics denouncing the fact that the park and that it is too small misses the most popular attractions which made the success and the reputation of its American counterparts, Japanese and French. In order to mitigate this lack, Ernest thus announced that the next attraction of the park would be It' S has Small World. It should open in Fantasyland within two years, whereas three new attractions (Autopia, Stitch Encounter and UFO Zone) open as of this summer.

In order to fidéliser the customers, of the monthly events as of the seasons with topics are also under development, affirmed Bill Ernest. But it also makes a point of acknowledging its errors and of holding account of it in order to improve the park as quickly as possible. In particular, the park completely underestimated the time passed through the visitors in the restaurants to China. New tables and chairs will be thus added in the majority of the restaurants of the park as soon as possible in order to reduce waiting.

The advertisement of this innovation shares the community of the fans. On a side, one cannot indeed deny that this traditional attraction is present in all the resorts Disney throughout the world, except in Hong-Kong, which was to thus build it in the long term. On another side, the choice of this attraction as first large addition after Autopia since the opening of the park generates a general outcry. The choice is perhaps not so judicious, attraction not moving crowd by its repetitive musics and its relatively slow rate/rhythm. But let us not forget that the Chinese culture is not the same one as ours. It may be that the small headstocks are more with their taste than Haunted Mansion for example.

From a strictly economic and operational point of view, it appears that this attraction takes less place than the other traditional ones like Pirates of the Caribbean, takes easier and a long time to build, and especially much less expensive and simpler to maintain. It thus acts there of a short-term solution, which consists in investing the least possible by building traditional all the same. However, one can wonder whether the fact of choosing an attraction rather intended for the children is a good choice, when it is seen that Big Thunder Mountain always misses with this park. But like it does not have either of Frontierland...

Then why does It' S have Small World? Quite simply because the park currently does not have a sufficient capacity from its own design. Before building an attraction which will attract crowd with the park, and this so as avoiding any problem with too long queues and a bad environment in the park, it is necessary to build an attraction with strong capacity which will reduce that of the park when this one attracts more world. It is thus a question all things considered of repairing its errors, once more, and finally to see in the long run. The choice is thus not so bad that one could have believed it at first sight, and completely considered.
