As far as I know French kids get the week off school and many adults take holiday time then.

Hi there
We are going on the 26th to 30th May, just after the bank holiday Monday in the UK.  Does anyone know how busy it is likely to be then? Also, we are looking to stay at New York or Sequoia Lodge or the Dream Castle outside the park.  For first timers, is it better to stay in the park and if so, any thoughts on which is the best hotel for a 9 and 13 year old kids.
Thank you!
I think that's Pentecost week next year which is a busy holiday period in France, so expect quite a few people. or first-timers I'd always recommend staying at one of the on-campus hotels. Both of the ones you've mentioned are fine.

I'm just about to book 26th-30th too which is arriving on the Tuesday after Pentacost Monday. Won't everyone be back at work/school by then?? It's so hard to find a few quieter days...

Hit the calendar link in my signature, pick any quiet or low day :) mids aren't horrendous either.

We are going 8th Feb for 6 days but I have just noticed that it's the first week of some school holidays in France. Is this going to make it really busy? Thanks😄

I expect its also Summer hols in France but how busy will it be 1st to 5th August please?

Two years ago we went around the same dates. It was very very busy. We were there then from a wednesday until a saturday. Wednesday and Thursday were fine but Friday and Saturday it was madness. The park was so full we could hardly walk. All fast passes were sold out before 11 a.m. If you took a fast pass around 10.00 a.m. you had to wait until the evening to enter the attraction. There was even a waiting line for the maze.

So what we did was go in the morning until around 11.00 a.s. Then leave. Walk around the shops outside the parks and return to our hotel to swim. Then return to the park for dinner en stay the rest of the evening. That way it was possible to see quite a few attractions.

Good things are that everything was open and with maximum capacity. I hate it when I have to wait because they decide to run only 1 tram instead of 3 or 4. All shops and restaurants are open until late. The park was open until 23.00 I think.

So it is possible to go but plan you days wisely. Use the fast passes as good as possible.

Any idea why february 23-27 as showing as very quiet - seeing as this is zone c holidays? We are going then and are prepared for it to be fairly busy, but it will be a bonus if it is quiet!

We're going in April (Monday 13th - Friday 17th).  I can see on different sites that Zone A (Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble, Lyon, Montpellier, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Pays de Gex, Rennes, Toulouse) have their holidays at the same time, but I'm completely unsure how much difference that would be (I think these regions are in the South??)

Does anyone have any idea if this will be super-busy?  It's showing as "Regular" on their price structure if that helps!

Since it's the opening week of Swing Into Spring and St. David's Welsh Festival it's probably pretty crowded.
