Hi we've just booked our Eurostar for my 30th birthday trip (actually going on my birthday day) our train gets us into dlp by 12 so we'll have a long day until park closing and then majority of the next day until 5pm we'll head to the train station.

I've been many times before but never adults only this probably will be the only time ever I'll do this I feel guilty already on my son! But I love the thrill rides and rarely get to relax and enjoy a nice meal as he has CP + autism so we have to do things quickly as in fast food and minimal waiting around. So we're looking forward to taking it in a little more. We're staying st the sequoia any tips to make it special? We've never been July before either! It's weekdays 4-5th would love to know your experience

Have a great birthday in July!!!
It definitely helps to take some time off from children. Don't feel guilty, you also need sime time to yourself and your partener.

I suggest to browse a liitle the menus and choose a nice restaurant for your birthday meal,, the one that appeals you the most.

Personally if you want a really special meal I'd say go to Walts. It's a beautiful restaurant and the food has been great every time I've eaten there.

Sulley's Arms

We went to DLP without our kids for the first time last December.

It felt really odd, almost like we were imposters somehow, or shouldn't be there! However after the first hour or so that all passed, lol.

I have to say the highlight of a fantastic weekend was actually an evening meal at Blue Lagoon - it was not because of that specific location but simply because we found ourselves taking our time, relaxing, talking, etc. (you know, all that stuff we never get to do normally!).

If you were to book at a table restaurant I'm certain you'd have the same type of experience.

And don't feel guilty for too long, you're allowed to be a person as well sometimes.  ;) :D :)

You'll have a great time I'm sure of it! Maybe go to cafe fantasia for a glowtini or two :)

Or even the bar at Sequoia Lodge is stunning, and they do these huge massive cocktails haha :) but glowtinis and various other things as well.
