Over 20 DLP visits and we maybe going Disneyworld later this year!

Ok so I'm kinda a pro at DLP but I'd have absolutely no idea where to start with planning a Disneyworld trip!

So my son has many disabilities some which would cost a fortune to ensure for, I never thought it'd be possible that he would be able to go Florida. But a little friend of his has just returned from a 7 day trip which was arranged by a children's charity. This is really a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and for most seriously ill/disabled children. When this little chaps mum told me how amazing it was I wondered if it could be possible.

I contacted them yesterday and they said he would be entitled which is exciting but also very scary! But this organisation has arranged many of these trips and I assume they will guide me best they can.

The flight is in itself daunting as he's never flown! But I think he would love it when we got there. There is just myself and my son so I need to get a carer to come along if we do indeed go as my parents won't fly...

My friend paid extra and stayed for 10 days rather than 7. If anyone reading this has been before is the child friendly rides and attractions do-able in 5 days? As the other 2 we'd be travelling. I wouldn't be doing big attractions this holiday would be purely for my sons enjoyment and of course to make what I hope will be incredible memories for us to share.

Let me know your thoughts and hints/tips of you have any  :)

Just wanted to trow in my two cents saying that on this site http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/disabgeneral.htm you'll see some info about disabilities at WDW.

And here http://www.disboards.com/forums/disabilities.20/ is a big WDW fan forum about disabilities.

Hope that can help a bit.
