Room temperature/duvets?

This might be a slightly strange question, but as it's been so chilly here the last few days I've been thinking about our trip in December. Obviously we'll be taking warm clothes, but as a naturally cold person I was wondering if anybody could tell me whether the rooms in Sequoia Lodge have duvets? Are the hotels generally warm or on the chilly side - would we be advised to bring dressing gowns if we were planning on relaxing in our room in the evenings?

Thanks in advance and apologies for the slightly strange query!

I'm not a terribly cold person, the sequioa lodge I think is very cosy for winter time!  :)
On our last December trip we took warm pjs and slippers and I don't remember being cold in the room at all, duvets in all hotels wouldn't say they're terribly thick but they do the job.

I'd be more worried about the cold outside it does get to you after a few hours but keep having hot drinks throughout the day and dress with layers you'll be fine. Christmas season is so magical  :D

Slimy yet satisfying

Never had an issue of being cold with any of the on or offsite hotels. In fact we usually turn the thermostats down when we arrive as it is usually too hot for us ( maybe thats because we are Scottish!) The beds have a duvet and some hotel also have a sheet set and comforter throw too. There are often extra blankets on the shelf by the door too. I dont think its worth taking space in your case with dressing gowns...thats for taking home goodies!

I stayed in Sequoia Lodge Christmas 2013. The room temperature was fine, no need for dressing gown or worrying about being cold in the night. Like others have said, its when you are in the parks that the cold might get to you. Layer up, and have water proofs. I wore 2 pairs of socks and had leggings under my jeans, as well as hat , scarf and gloves. Ponchos are great , everyone wears them, they keep you dry and are easy to take on and off.

Thanks all; that's really helpful! We're driving so taking extra-warm coats and boots won't be a problem for us, and I'm on the lookout for warm socks and thermals, etc! Already got my Disney poncho sorted ;).
