I wasn't inside on my trip two weeks ago, but from what I could see from the outside it will be impossible to look out on Main Street through the scaffolding from inside the restaurant.

BUT, I haven't been inside so I cannot say for sure..

We ate at Walts on 18th July and can confirm you could not see out the window onto Main Street, however, there was a limited view out the window onto one of the side streets. TBH the food was so good it didn't matter.

We ate at Walt's on Saturday 20th August and looked out over Main Street (above Lilly's boutique). It was fabulous to watch the building lights come on and the gas lanterns.

Fabulous news! Do you remember which room it was you dined in (themed to which land)? Perhaps I can make a reservation for a specific room... :)

Update: there are a couple of rooms with a view over Main Street (above Lilly's Boutique and such...). Despite specifically requesting this during reservation three days in advance, and reiterating this on the very morning (seeing the request written besides my name on the screen), we lucked out on a table with a view during parade time. Having your request in writing well in advance guarantees you nothing in this restaurant, unfortunately.

So we opted for viewing the parade outside and having a snack somewhere else afterward. 'Cause really, it's not the food that's special at Walt's - it's the experience. ;)
