I find it amazing how they can make a little metal robot so cute and lovable! :o

It doesn't seem like there's much speaking in the film though... Not that it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering how it'll work, and if it'll work.

After looking up WALL-E on IMDB, I've discovered that there are actually quite a few voices in the film, considering what we have seen so far. The list includes the famous actress Sigourney Weaver, and Pixar regular, John Ratzenberger :)

From what I've seen of the film (thats two 5 min clips) the no speaking thing works because they still communicate (the robots I mean) but they just don't speak in a language, just small noises and imagery that makes you understand whats going on, very well done.

In some scenes there will be other voices due to humans and other robots (with speech, I think, I never saw them but there were hints) so I'm assuming this is where the famous voices come in to play.

I wonder if there will be any Pixar toys amongst the rubbish WALL-E has to sort? Or did the humans take them all to space?

Yeah, I remember him. :) But I think WALL-E is looking cuter. ;)

The Dutch Disney weblog D-log.nl has a small article about the WALL-E animatronic that will come to the Disney parks. A test with WALL-E has been done at the Disney Studios in Burbank.

The article has a link to another blog, but unfortunately, this link leads to an 404 error page.

This small picture can be found with the article on D-log.nl. I couldn't find any other pictures/videos from this animatronic.
