Hi all!

Just booked our next trip to DLP for June, however as I booked the Eurostar tickets separately (cheaper) from the hotel & park package, I wondering if anyone knew if it would be possible to add Disney Express nearer the time of our trip?

Yes you can add DE to your booking, just make sure you do it 48hours before you leave.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you, tomorrow,... You're always a day closer to my next Disney trip!

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but has anyone used Leisure Select on the direct Eurostar?

I am thinking of using it one way as a treat, and was wondering if it is worth the extra money, and which direction is better to use it? We usualy travel to/from Ashford.

I would really appreciate anyone's comments on this!

I think in order to get Disney Express you have to book your hotel and park tickets through Disney direct, that's my understanding of it anyway.

You have to add the Disney Express to your DLP booking.  Call Disney (if you book direct with Disney) and ask them to add it.  Eurostar do not control the DE, it is Disney.  HTH

I just booked and will be adding mine at a later date.

Not really a Eurostar question but still a kind of related question (a thing I always seem to forget when travelling to DLRP by train). The end stop of my TGV is Gare Du Nord but I always forget how to get away from there. I remember something about taking RER A to Chatelet les Halles and from there a RATP to Marne la Vallee (or Val D'europe actually). And what about tickets, I can remember to have bought tickets beforehand in the TGV, is that still possible?

A couple was in our shop on Saturday and I stuck up a conversation about going to DLP after spending a week in London this October.  The gentleman recommended the upgrade on the Eurostar, as he said he heard it was worth it.  But as they had never travelled to DLP that way, I wouldn't mind hearing anyone else's input on the more expensive ticket...

the difference in price between the 2 tickets can vary depending on how early you book, which gets a cheaper standard ticket. Leisure select is really nice if you value extra aisle and leg room which can be good if you have very small children with you. You also get a lot less 'traffic' of people squeezing along the aisles going to toilets or buffet car which makes for a more relaxing journey. They serve a reasonable meal and coffee too which you may value if you're traveling early.
We've used it when the price difference wasn't great and my wife never wanted to use standard again as its a much calmer journey (we have 2 small children), it's not a particularly long journey and even standard is much better than domestic UK rail. Standard can also give very good value for money if you book early.
So, I guess you get what you pay for, depends how much you want peace and quiet and legroom, or how much you want value for money.

Hello all!

Does anyone know when Eurostar will start selling tickets for mid-January 2011? Booked our DLP hotel, but they want over £500 for the train    Looking at other dates via Eurostar should be about £222 ish at the cheapest, and although the calendar goes up to mid-Jan there are no trains available  :?

Looking forward to my 3rd visit to the Sequoia Lodge!

Have you tried phoning eurostar? We wereable to get our tickets before they were available online, and for less than we expected to pay. It was very easy to book over the phone.

Yeah, they were unfortunately pretty vague in that they will be available in "a few weeks or so". I was just hoping they would tell me an exact (or near enough) date so I could be ready to book and have it all sorted. Phoned Disney and they quoted a not at all generous £531, more than the cost of the holiday for 3 people!

I rang this morning and was told that January dates will go on sale on the 3rd of August. I want the 6th-10th.

I rang back this evening to ask for a call back when they go on sale and was told that the 3rd wasn't confirmed yet and that she didn't really know what date they would be released  ](*,)
