Wow wow wow! In honour of the release of Enchanted today, Disney.co.uk has completely relaunched in the same template as the new Disney.com, including DisneyXD and brand new pages for movies, tv, travel, etc.

It's a much bigger update than I'd expected, I thought we'd have Disney.com completely watered down.

The Travel page also includes a couple of features from DLRP - a Christmas highlights video and a look at Crush's Coaster and Cars Race Rally. DLRP also has its own channel on DisneyXD, filled with (really old) video clips, some song clips, games and more. http://dxd.disney.co.uk/dxd/?channel=17077

So, well done Disney UK/Europe! =D> We no longer need to feel like such second-class Disney fans over here compared to the US.

The Music section also is amazing.

Disney's UK website has grown its monthly traffic by 42% to more than 3 million since its relaunch in December.

Unique users to the entertainment portal have now grown by 55% since January last year and users are spending 30 minutes playing with the site's games, video, music and other channels.

Page views were up 120% year-on-year in January to more than 35 million.

Disney introduced a new personal community area to the site in December titled Disney Xtreme Digital (XD), which enables users to share videos with friends, listen to music, create playlists and play games with each other.

Cindy Rose, senior vice president and managing director of Walt Disney Internet Group for Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: "These figures show that our audience has embraced the new Disney.co.uk. We experienced our best ever month in January, with unique users and page views beating all previous records."

Do Disney.co.uk know that their very prominent search function hasn't worked for months?

Funny you should say that Anthony, I tried it recently to no avail, but I thought the area was just temporarily down, since I don't use the search feature too often..
