Thank you! I'm usually on my way to work then so I'm not sure I'll be able to log on at that time, do they go quite quickly?

Yes they do I think I normally have mine paid for by 905 and I assume a lot of others do, perhaps you could get to work early?! Or buy them in certain stores on the Saturday as long as its not the online editions.

Information: UK Disney Stores to cease selling Pins..

It's moving to Online only as there is not enough Pins to go between the Stores and Online Customers.. Typical

http://massmail.disneyinternational.com ... in/pin.pdf

After speaking to one of the Managment Team at the MetroCentre Branch, another behind the scene reason seems to be that it has not been as popular in the stores as originally thought, with only a few stores doing well with the selling of Pins..  :|

Personally, buying them online is quite pricey because of the delivery fee. Ok they have reduced it to half price, but only on the weekend of release. You would need to buy a few Pins to make it cost effective. Looks like it's back to the drawing board and back to the old fashioned way of getting my Pins and that is wait till I go back to the parks. I don't know..  [-(

I haven't been able to get any pins for a long while as there are no stores that release them near me and I also can't get online on Fridays as I start work at 8. I doubt this will make it any easier for me to get pins, and i suspect the same will be true for many people. I would love it if they changed the release day every so often.

I was pleasantly surprized, even with the Brave pin (that I expected to sell out in like an hour), I got to order it I think 3 days after the release.

Now if you want to buy any pins you have to do it from the Disney store website as they no longer sell them in the shops. I think the last pin I actually bought in a UK Disney Store was a limited edition Lion King pin. I think it is a shame that they are no longer sold in the shop but the good thing I like about buying them online is that they also sell DLP specific pins - the other day I bought about 5 online, including two Disneyland Paris attraction pins that normally you can only buy in DLP. It can be a bit hit and miss though depending on what pins have been released for that month. However I am impressed that the non-DLP pins I bought were actually limited editions so maybe having them released only online is not such a bad thing.

We are going to dlp in May and my friend is a huge collector of pins and would like to try pin trading, we've been looking on the internet and some of the websites say that '[/size]In Disneyland Paris, the cast members are instructed not to accept pins with any of the following origins: EuroDisney, Kodak, Arthus Bertrand, DisneyStore, Spain (also called sedesma pins), or Germany (also called ProPins)' does this mean that pins bought from the disney store website cannot be used in pin trading, even though they have the mickey head on the back? Does anyone have any experience with this. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but we'd prefer to check before buying them. TIA
