That's what AP is reporting.

The store, the third under the World of Disney banner and the only one under the WoD name outside the theme parks, is expected to close its' location at Fifth Avnue and 55th Street in Manhattan and be replaced with a Disney Store somewhere else in Manhattan.  Disney sold the Disney Store to retailer The Children's Place in 2004, but recently repurchased the brand earlier this year.

I am visiting NYC next year in April and hoping to visit the World of Disney store so if it does relocate i am glad I will see it before it does :lol:
