They did the same thing for the Dutch version of the Tarzan musical last year, except for the fact that they were looking for just Tarzan.

This show also resulted in having two alternate Tarzans.

Chantal Janzen (Jane) and Ron Link (Tarzan), actors of the Tarzan musical (The Netherlands).

I wish we had a Disney talent show. We've had Maria (Sound of Music), Joseph (Technicolour Dream Coat) and soon Oliver. And the rubbish Grease one.

Ariel would be good...

Keep us updated on who wins!!

That's fantastic! Pia is one of the greatest dutch (maybe worldwide.  Performed also in germany, on Broadway.....) musical stars ever. Just hearing here voice is getting me goosebumps!
In dutch, but pls....enjoy...:)

#1 Casting Stuttgart:
The first show was last friday and it was really fun to watch it.
The show was set one hour. That makes it very firm and diverting. Pia was great cause she had always an eye for strong young men   but also an ear for the voices    Really a great funny person! The other guys were also good and seems all a lot of fun for them.

If anyone would look the show, here´s a link for the whole broadcasting from the stuttgart castings:

After episode 2 they found all guys and girls they wanted and in episode 3 they had a big recasting with this people. They must dance, sing and show their half nude bodies (only the boys).

Yes that seems really to get a big point   In the teasers for the next show they show how the guys and girls kiss each other and other   -things.

Ich Tarzan, du Jane seems to try to get not just the funniest and best quality show of the year but also the sexiest.

For all who are interested    Here the boys without shirts making sporty things from the last episode:

Palüm, Parlüm. The next show is over :D

In this episode we could see much things happen. Phil Colllllins take seat and have a look at the candidates. He also make a big of music workshop with them. But also other guys make some workshops. Like a little ape who show the prospective Tarzans how to walk and jump like an ape. Cute little guy. The jury was also very cute with all comments and so. Of course the big SEX factor didn´t could stay away from this episode. After the boys and girls must try to swing with lianas they had to do jumps. In Bikini or bathing suits - depending on gender. From a tower into an pool.

Next week the live shows will start! You can see the final candidates in this gallery:

Hm after two life shows I must say the show isn´t anymore something what you must see. The life shows are a bit boring and the "musical-Stars" act to theatric to take they really serious. The show seems to take the wrong turn now! :?

I actually saw the end of the live show on Friday!

Looks like a very good quality show, but didn't really get to see any of the performances, just the "we've kicked you off so now we have to make it worse by making you sing again!" farewell song.

Still, I'd much rather we had a Tarzan/Mermaid/Poppins/Lion King casting show in the UK than the horrible Oliver one we're being subjected to.

True its just another excuse for John Barrowman to be on tv.

I can becalm you :D  After seeing the last one again, I must say it´s again better. They found their old strengths again. More sexy boys on screen.   Only the girls were a bit beaten by strange hairdos.

Now I will be lucky to watch the next one.
