Quote from: "Masamune" It's about time you got the Cheshire Cat one.

Well it's funny you should say that, because when I was looking at it, you did cross my mind.  It was at this point I put on my own grin..

That's no word of a lie either.  :D

While I think on, just to let you know at last I've seen your Cheshire Cat mug and mini plushie, at our local Disney Store, which wasn't there about 3 weeks ago. They are really neat, I like the design of them, I noticed they had a few other ones aswell.  :D

 Hm, yes, I can just imagine it.

Javey: *Sees Cheshire Cat figure and thinks of crazy ol' Masa* :D/

:P Hehe, they're cute aren't they? I remember they also had Tinker Bell, Stitch and Marine. I love the expression on one side of the Cheshire mug, where Cheshire is poking his cheeks. It's so cute!

3 more from my Easter shopping spree.  Nearly a panic on with Jiminy Cricket, only 1 store had it in out of 11 stores, going like gold dust.

Anyway here they are >>

Pooh Bear - Hunny Of A Bear

Jiminy Cricket - Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide

Donald - Donald with Lights with Stand

The Donald one was an odd ball I'd only ever seen online, but managed to find it.  There was also a Goofy in the same style, also a Tinkerbell with snowflakes hanging from each arm, another few I had only seen online.

But you know me where Donald's concerned, out of all of them I just had to buy it...

Yeah it really does, doesn't it... :D I can think of some choice words, just from the expression...

Jim Shore, the sculpter of the Disney Traditions range is ever so talented. He always captures the expression and personalities of all the Disney characters. Bringing them to life in the way of his sculptures, made from poly resin but are sculpted and painted in such a way to look wooden.

And no, I don't mind you asking pjulie75.  :)

The prices, the Princess ones are £38.00.  Some of the smaller ones range from £12.00 to £18.00 each.  Some of the larger or multi functional ones range from £40.00 to £50.00.  The dearest one I own up to now is the 7 Dwarfs on the tree trunk "Homeward Bound", that was £75.00.  There is a Cinderella Carriage with Horse which is £125.00 and just recently I noticed there was a Mickey 26" tall priced at £180.00.

Also you will find that they are priced the same, no matter where you go for them, a bit like merchandise in DLRP boutiques.  The only time you might get them a little cheaper is checking for the sales where they sometimes offer 10 to 20% discount from the original price.    :D

Disney Traditions are not sold in DLRP unfortunately  :( , well not that I've ever seen.
You can get them from H Samuel, Collectables (depending on where you live), Ron Hill (Redcar) and a few other specialist stores.  Also mainly online aswell.

Hi Masamune

I actually got it for £12.80 in one of the 3 Collectables stores in the Gateshead MetroCentre, but only because the shop had a 20% discount sale, as it was closing down.  There were a few others as well, including Lucifer which I also got the 20% off.  But yes the standard price was £16.00 for the "Grinning Cheshire".  :D

:P Aww, you got a bargain.

I had a look in my local H.Samuel's the other day. They had quite a few of the Disney Traditions statues. :) I really want them to get Nana in stock. Nana's such a lovely character and it's rare to see merchandise featuring her.

I'd say I was lucky that day.  :o

On the subject of Nana, I've never seen them released in our stores as yet, I know you can get them online.  Peg is another character I've never seen yet either in the stores.  I'm after those two, to finish the dog collection off.  Have to wait and see I suppose.

We'll have to tip each other off, who ever sees them first.    :D

Well I'll finish with another purchase>>

Tinkerbell - Sitting Pretty

I've started collecting the Royal Doulton Disney Princess Collection, I've got Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Snow White, and Belle, not managed to get my hands on Cinderella yet... does anyone know where I could find her. Tried 4 Debenhams and they don't have her and not seen them anywhere else.

Hi Disney Princess

Well I know 'Collectibles' had them, including the one your looking for [Cinderella], but depending on where you live in the UK, will depend on how accessible the store is to you, if you want to go there in person.

For collectible stores try the link below.

http://www.collectables.co.uk/ [just click on the 'Contact Us' tab then select 'Store Details']

You can order online from them aswell, if there wasn't a store anywhere near you.
