Had a fantastic few days - used all of the tips supplied on this site and our stay was even more enjoyable!

Day 1 - Took off from Dublin Airport with Air France to arrive in Disneyland at 11am, easy transfer with the VEA service to Disneyland Hotel, Amazed that the hotel still had wonderful Christmas decorations in place - just georgeous! There were a few people in front of us, but magically extra staff arrived from behind the counter and we did not have to wait!  Very informative staff member George got us checked in an told us our room would be available at 3pm.  Left our luggage and headed over to the Park.  We could not believe how wonderful main Street was all decked out in 15th Birthday celebration and Christmas decorations - it looked fantastic.  We could not believe how short the queues were for all of the rides - 10 minutes max we did not use any of the fastpasses we got at the hotel!  My youngest daughter was dying to see if she was tall enough for space mountain this year - words cannot describe how much she enjoyed that first thrilling ride!  By 6 we were all so tired headed back to hotel and had a relaxing cocktail in the very comfy lounge.  Got key to our room on the 4th floor - big and spacious and cases all left ready for unpacking.  Decided to try pool before our dinner in Inventions - what can I say the pool was great and a great way to revive us after our long day it also gave us a great appitite very important for the wonderful buffet at Invention!  Dinner as always was just wonderful, so many characters stopped by for a chat, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofey and Susy and Perla - they stayed chatting and posing for photos for ages!
Day 2 -
Along with our chocolate coins was a note on our pillows advising to eat breakfast prior to 9am - glad we took that advice, we got seated immediately right overlooking the park, no queues for the buffet which was yummy with lots of choice.  When we were leaving the restaurant a long queue had built up!  Set off for the Studios dying to see the new rides - we were not dissapointed! Tower of terror first on our list and with no queue we had three goes in a row, it was amazing, very thrilling. Headed over to Crushes Coaster, a bit of a queue here 15 minutes short compared to what we had read!  Again another fantastic addition and we loved it rode it twice more before heading for cars.  Again no queue, but we did not like this as much, twirling a bit too much for us.  Headed over to our all time favorite Rock and Roller not dissapointed here either!  As we had booked Blue Lagoon for lunch we headed over to the Park, again no queues for any of the rides and got to ride the carousel, peter pan and pirates (which had everything working Magic!) before our yummy lunch.  After lunch we rode Buzz, star tours, space mountain and got our first ever ride on Autopia!  It has been closed every other year!  We had to queue for 20 minutes but it was a nice ride, not too thrilling but nice all the same.  Time to stake out a good place for watching the new parade - Wow this is fabulous, I thought it would not be as good as the princess parade but it was, visually stunning and the smells!  We were lucky the princesses float stopped right by us and we got to see all of the princes and princesses dance!  Headed off to one our favorite rides Phantom Manor and really enjoyed it, took another ride on Pirates and were thrilled to be able to ride agin in a boat to ourselves.  Headed back to hotel for another drink in the lounge before a swim and a visit to the Ice rink outside Hotel New York - we had a ball both our girls were great on the skates myself and hubby only lasted half an hour before giving up to enjoy watching the girls.  Visit to Annettes for supper, yummy food and great fun service, the perfect end to a great day.  Back to hotel for a graet nights sleep.

Day 3 - Took advice and got to breakfast at 8.55 got seated immediately - same great table as yesterday!  Hubby decided to give the park a miss and head to the pool for the morning while us three thrill seekers sought out the more thrilling rides yet again!  More of the same as yesterday, again got to ride on everything with very little queuing - we used one of the hotel fast passes only cos we could on peter pan.  Met up with hubby for lunch at Walts - had taken advice from site and booked a window seat for parade time - well worth doing.  We got a great birds eye view while relaxing over after dinner drinks.  After lunch we took in the shows on offer in the Studios - all as entertaining as usual.  as we had such fun last night we decided to go back iceskating after our swim.  Again we rounded off the evening in Annettes.

Day 4 -

Our last day so we were up and out to the parks for 10 opening determined to ride every ride in both parks - guess what? we did it!  We got all our shopping in the hotel gift shop - exactly the same prices as the parks.  Had our late luch at the hotel before having to say a sad and sorry goodbye!

We really enjoyed our trip this year and because we ate dinner at lunchtime our evenings were very free so we got to swim and ice skate which was lovely and also easier on the pocket!  Am so looking forward to our next trip!  Thanks again to all this sites contributors we got some graet tips!
