This year! It's finally this year!

And even L'Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy is rolling off the tongue easily at last.  ;)

Bistrot Chez Rémy sounds good to me too - though a "Relais de Venise"-style single menu option really doesn't... shame.

Isn't it great to be able to say that it opens this summer.  Oh wow.  An exciting few months ahead folks!

Now all we need is an opening date for the ride so we can make some plans and book our holiday. I'm dreaming of a few nights at the DLH.  :)

Reasonable.  All we know is Summer 2014, I'd estimate it being earlier in Summer than later. You could be there for the soft openings.  I think it'll become a little clearer in the next couple of months though,

I'll play bad cop and say unlikely - last I heard was late August, but that wasn't in any way confirmed. I think if the shop is Autumn, there's no way the attraction will be early Summer - that's just too much of an unexplained gap between the two.

Just to get a Point across, in the Official Press Release from Disneyland Paris they explain what the ride is about: guests will shrink down to the size of a rat and join Rémy and his friends as they scurry through the kitchen, dining room, and walls of Gusteau's famous Parisian restaurant, all the while trying to avoid the nemesis from the film, Chef Skinner.

So that means that the ride is based in Gusteau's Restaurant and basically will be a ride-through of the restaurant while trying to avoid Chef Skinner. So the time this takes place is:

When Gusteau's is owned by Chef Skinner as he is labeled as a Chef, not sure if Linguini is in the ride as he is not mentioned.

Was going to book for mid June but now I don't know  :-\

Im sure they are working on the ride non stop.
I would have thought May /June would be the usual time to open

I think they'll want to advertise the ride being open for summer sales:- they'd have a lot of unhappy visitors if it weren't open, and be missing out on a lot of business.

I assume you've all already seen this -- but I'm going to post a link to it anyway!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIPOTGZSqjA

It looks terrific.... except for that bizarrely sinking rooftop at the end where they've got the perspective effect wrong. But let's ignore that and imagine that it's a subtle homage to Up!

I'm hoping there's going to be an invite for shareholders club members to ride it before the general public, if there is I'll be there faster than a rat up a drainpipe (excuse the pun) :)

Big Ratatouille news day today thanks to InsideDLParis twitter account. The official logo and first advert have been discovered. The advert is in German but I think looks really smart and the logo is cute.
