News about the area's music loop!

Quote from: "WDSfans.com"The Toon Studio make-over at Animation Courtyard continues as the old flooring is disappearing bit by bit and more blue is being painted on Studio 3.

But there's another significant change: a brand new area music loop! The new loop features music not just from hit animated movies like Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan, but also lesser known tracks from The Rescueurs and even Walt Disney World's nighttime parade Spectromagic are among the new score.

Spectromagic? Maybe it sounds great, but it seems like an odd choice. By the way, I read somewhere that the new area music loop has a jazzy feel to it. I don't know how it sounds, but from a studio/30s perspective (with Studio 1 and Hollywood Studio around the corner) it seems like a great idea. I can't wait to find out how the area loop of the new zone will sound like aswell.

Yeah it was a Jazzy version from the Spectromagic main theme.

The new loop is lovely, I heard quite a bit more today hanging around watching the Toon Town backdrop hills be put into place and riding Flying Carpets.

The music I've heard:

- The Emporer's New Groove
- Spectromagic Jazz theme
- Fantasia
- Snow White
- Beauty and the Beast
- The Rescuers
- 101 Dalmations
- The Aristocats

...and probably more.  I'll have a think and watch a few of my videos back, and try and find the exact tracks.  There must be a bit of Pixar somewhere.  It sounds like "lounge" music, slightly jazzy/toony but laid back and lots of piano, really perfect.  Can you tell I'm an area music freak?

The hills where the words "Toon Town" go are now in place.  The letters were cut-out (you could see right through them to the trees behind), so it looks like we're getting 3D text like in Disneyland. :)

Again jealous of this experiences! I´m a big area, queue line and attraction music fan! To tell such things is like pulling my nose in a squeezer!

Hope the have some of it soon at soundsofmagic or someone else!

And the news about the toon town backdrop are wonderful. I prayed so much for more 3D elements there!

That is so cool. And you can see the positioning of all the buildings and objects. Very exciting.

Cool shot! From the air the ground of the toon studio make sense  :D But it doesn't look like there will be a pathway from the toon studio to tram tour  :?:

Indeed, they should hurry up. There will be a pathway if I remember correctly, since that will be the only way the Studio Tram Tour can be reached from May onwards.

Looking at the photo's taken yesterday, it seems the tarmac is still part of the "Chequer Board" effect. Is this the final effect?
