My glasses are always fine on every ride at DLRP. If they have been fitted properly then they should stay on.

They (Cast Members) told people to take off their prescription glasses? Are you sure? I can understand them asking people to take off sunglasses that they're wearing on top of their head. But, prescription glasses? I've never heard that. Besides, what's the point of the ride having visuals, if people can't see them clearly?

I agree. I thought it was weird. Maybe it was a new guy or something.

As far as I know they don't actually TELL you to take them off, they just advise you. I didn't take the advice, and I was fine.

"Please keep hold of your hats, bags, glasses... and anything else you would like to keep in this dimension" - That's what they usually say.

Sounds about right.

Oh right, well that's not unusual. That's the same as Big Thunder's "hang on to 'em hats and glasses". They're just advising you to be careful and look after them, not to take them off.

Thing is, if your glasses are a good fit, they won't fall off easily. Try bending over with your head upside-down and shaking it around. Do your glasses fall off? Most likely, no.

Ever seen (or wanted to see) the original episode of the Twilight Zone that the Imagineers used for the Tower of Terror pre-show? Check out this 9 minute clip from "It's A Good Life" on YouTube:

Thanks for posting that video Alan, I've not seen it before so it was interesting to see what they used for the pre-show :)

Is the Paris tower going to a random drop sequence soon? The latest brochure said, "the tower is in control."

That would be a bit fast after just one year of operation, wouldn't it?   :)

I'm sure you did, but it's just not confirmation for the random drop profile. The marketing probably just liked the tag.  :)
