It's worrying that it's not working too good again already. Whoever designed that recoil movement in the first place should be ashamed of themselves! :lol:

I found a news report on SM:M2 from TF1 yesterday, but the video didn't really want to load so I didn't post it, but this one does work, so get watching!!!

For the first time there's official on-ride footage which shows you the projections and things which you fly through a lot more clearly than any other video! It's great to see DLRP have got a nice collection of ride footage collected already.

No, unfortunately like those Fanta radio station videos I posted yesterday it can't be downloaded and saved... not without a lot of hassle anyway probably. It's because it's a .asx file and not a .wmv, so it can only be streamed and not saved I think.

I have ripped the whole news broadcast from the site with some special tools and that is 140 mb's.
Now I'm going to convert it to mpeg and cut the SM mission 2 part out of it

Did you like it then? Okay that fireworks was great indeed, but it was i think one or two seconds or so. The rest.........it really wasn't worth being called 'special', and i have no idea why they had to make such a big announcement for weeks for it.

I'll try to capture it today!!

The special is apparently quite funny as DJ Tiesto couldn't stand the heat of SMM2... he chickend out! After getting in the train for press pictures, he then got out complaining he was ill. LAME EXCUSE!

He also did DLRP a massive favour as he had the general attitude that he didn't care it was DLRP or SMM2, but a time to promote himself further. Nice to have such enthusiasm from him don't you think?

The special was VERY funny to watch. It just made me laugh how they went to all that trouble with it and then within a few seconds it was over! They got those people into the studio and all the outside broadcast stuff just for those 3mins! :lol:

It was good to see some of the official opening though. It had that glossy, professional look that all DLRP events seem to have when they film them - like Donald's birthday and the WDS opening. I hope we get to see the full footage sometime...

And it's nice to see Tiesto couldn't handle SM:M2 - I've always thought he looked a bit weedy and weak, despite the cool guy DJ image. We need *proper* exploranauts!

But did you know that VIN DIESEL, the man that dis Fast&Furious, Riddick and XXX did'nt RIDE SM2 neither! He is scared of rollercoasters!

Moreover i was qite surprised when i learnt from the event that Vin Diesel was actually gay! :shock:

Yesterday morning we were standing on the Disneyland Hotel Parking and at 9.20 we heard music at Space Mountain. The ride music was played OUTSIDE the attraction and the crowd at the SM:M2 gates was teased before they could enter the attraction. We were too late to take some pictures but at the gates of the attraction, there were those colourful ribbons in the lamps of SM (like those they used during the Carnival season)

So there was a little opening for the guests

Yes that's something I want to know too. :wink:
