WDFA becomes Walt Disney Animation Studios

The changeover actually happened earlier this year, but I've only just spotted the brand new logo for Disney's own in-house animation:

Personally, I love it.  I can hardly believe Disney designed it, it looks so classic and understated compared to everything else these days.

It looks like we'll now have both 'Pixar Animation Studios' and 'Walt Disney Animation Studios', with films released by Walt Disney Pictures, giving a bit more credit to which animation studio has actually produced the film.

I can't find any info on if there'll be a moving logo before new films, like the Pixar lamp... but anyway, what do you think?

Quite like it. Disney going back to their roots, especially with the return of 2D animation.
