So, we went for a 3 night, 4 day trip to DLP from March 20-23.
It. Was. Awesome!!! Our 3rd trip!
We stayed at Disneyland B&B - a great off site hotel, cheap, very clean, that is easily connected to the park by regular shuttle buses. Would highly recommend this hotel - we bagged it for £104 for the 3 nights, including breakfast. (Nothing fancy, just crossiants, breads, cheese, meat, boiled eggs, jams, yogurts, apple sauce).
This was our first out of Christmas season trip together. Still just as magical, but with a little more rain! Though it was busier than it was last November, we still managed to do a LOT of rides (Indiana Jones 6 times in 40 minutes!). This was our first time since Thunder Mountain has been reopened. It was so good!! A nice long time with amazing effects.
We even managed to snag 2 trips on Star Tours' soft opening on Thursday morning before we left. Having never done the original, it was very enjoyable!
Ratatouille was a favourite of the OH. (He giggles a lot), even though it was down a lot of the time.
The 25th decorations were stunning, giving a different kind of magic than the Christmas dec's we're used to. Just a shame they had already sold out of the limited pins released the week before we went!!
We were lucky enough to randomly bump into Eeyore (OH's favourite), Tigger and Rabbit doing a meet and greet in the front lot of the Studios. Character meets are always better, I feel, when characters jump pop out of nowhere rather than queueing up for an eternity to meet them.
We're defiantly planning on going again soon to see the new parade before our Orlando trip in November!!!
Now to sulk at home and try and get over the post-Disney blue!!
