Hi all,

We went to DLP last July and have booked again for this August.

When we first arrived we'd planned to head straight to the park and to purchase my daughter (and most probably wife!) some Minnie ears and son some Mickey ears. Sadly it appeared that Mickey ears were no longer sold. Is that still the case? Seems a bit crazy to me but we were told it was ears for the girls and gloves (!?!) for the boys.

My son ended up with a Simba cap (which he loved) but want to prepare him this time as he really wanted ears.

Thanks

nathalie

Very strange, you must have not looked good enough then I think, because they are absolutely everywhere to buy  :)

Yes there are quite a few designs but not as many in this last year as in previous years. There are also very few that I would think a boy would wear, there used to be the mickey magician hat ones, graffiti, pirate and cowboy design ones. We also have Darth, Yoda and Stormtooper beanie hats with ears that were available last year but was there at New Year and didnt see them.

I'd check ebay as we also saw less ears than there used to be.  Other alternatives you might find on eBay are stitch ears or a cowboy hat with goofy on top

Wow, sounds like there is a few options but we asked in most shops on the first day and always got told that Minnie Ears for girls and oversized Mickey gloves for boys.

Hopefully we'll find some this time easily enough.

This might sound like a silly question but where is best to get ears from in DLP? Me and my friend are going in June for our first time and the first thing we want to do is get ears!

They sell them in all the shops but I'd head for World Of Disney.  I make custom character ears if anybody would like some!

I've messaged you all the details.

When we went in November, the only ears they had for boys were the Sorcerer Mickey ears with the hat. We looked everywhere, even Workd of Disney. Girls ears were normal Minnie ears, sequinned, Christmas and animal print in Adventure land. Think they're really missing a trick with no 'normal' Mickey ears - sure they'd fly off the shelves!

Glad someone else has had a similar issue, I was starting to worry I'd gone a bit crazy!

I think they really are missing a trick with the lack of mickey ears. Fingers crossed it's all sorted for August!
