Hi

Im sorry if this is a silly question but does anyone know if you can leave the park and go back to your hotel then go back in on the same day?

I am thinking of popping out for dinner then coming back for fireworks?

Also does 1 day ticket cover entry to both parks so in theory we could go to into both if theres something we want to go into 1 for?

Thanks

Yes you can enter and leave as many times as you want in a day. Each park has a separate turnstile where you put your ticket through to get in or out.

That depends on whether your ticket is a hopper ticket or a one park ticket. If you got the onsite hotel and ticket package then your ticket is a park hopper and you can go between the two parks as much as you like. There not one park entrance, each park has its own entrance.

You must make sure that when you leave the park that your hands are stamped at the exit gate otherwise you won't get back in later (unless it has changed in the past year or so, tickets are hole-punched on the way in so after that the hand-stamp is the only proof that you didn't spend half a day in the park, leave & sell your ticket outside for someone else to get in with).

This is not happening any more. My last visit was February 2016 and I asked about the hand stamp and was told by numerous CM at the turnstiles they dont do this. How ever in California Disneyland in June they DID do this, and there were signs up telling you to make sure to get the hand stamp. Like alot of things, Disneyland Paris does not inforce Disney Company standard procedures

That's really weird, Bad Pink Tink, because we did get stamped in Feb this year, lol! It was memorable mostly for our youngest still having it on his hand the next morning because he'd obviously not washed properly! (very noticable on the Pinocchio dark ride ::) )

We were there in June and we didn't need a hand stamp, I'm guessing it's because of the barcodes on the tickets which will say if it's a hopper ticket or not when scanned?

We have been getting hand stamps for many years. But mainly just for the fun of it (so it looked cool on dark rides). For about 4 years even when we did get our hands stamped they didn't check when we came back in. The tickets have just gone through fine for re-entry. This year however in February we found we weren't offered one so looks like they are definitely getting rid of it

RockNRoller

We've always taken a break mid afternoon to go chill in our hotel room for a bit. Sometimes we got stamped sometimes we didn't. Was always fun to see Mickey glowing on the back of your hand when you went on a dark ride later that day. Was disturbing when he was still glowing on my mates hand 2 days later, shows how well he washed his hands  ;D

I've also had the impression during the past few years that hand stamps are optional. They're available if you want them, but otherwise not really offered. Or necessary. We tend to go in and out of the parks.

The only caveat is the 15 minute rule - I once popped in and then the rain descended so I ran back to my hotel room in DLH to get my coat and was refused entry for 10 minutes!!!! Most ridiculous thing to happen at DLP in all my trips.
