We want to do a day trip into Paris with our child in Nov/Dec from Disneyland.  What is the best and/or most cost effective way to do this?

Buy carte mobilis's they're around €16 for adults for a full days unlimited travel, and buy your attraction tickets in advance to save queueing.

In the past we have booked the Paris Day trip through our hotel. It picks up at about 9am from hotel New York and returns about 6.30pm. It includes a river cruise and eiffel tower.

Thank you for your replies.  The bus tour sounds very tempting, especially with children in tow.  Can I ask, does the bus just drive by major sights or do you get a chance to get off the bus for a look and photos?

The bus stops quite frequently so you can stretch your legs and take photos. We stopped near the Lourve at lunch time, but rather than go and eat we took sandwiches which we bought at Marne la Vallee station to eat on the boat, this gave us time to explore around a bit.
