Hello!

We're going to be off on our second trip to dlrp next week, we went last year and a problem we found was where to get any sort of fruit. The only place we found was the buffet restaurant on Main Street (sorry I forgot the name!) but that's quite expensive. My girlfriend has a number of fruit allergies too so the fruit salad at breakfast was not an option. Any ideas would be really appreciated, I'm assuming we must have missed somewhere!

Thanks in advance!

I think the cable car baking co on main street has a small selection. Failing that I'm sure the train station shops have some. I hope they do anyway!

Hi there :D

Any chance that you could take some fruit with you? We are staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch, so will be taking bits and bobs food wise (cereal, fruit, crisps, nuts and so on), but we are traveling by car (Dover crossing) so it's not a problem luggage wise.  I think some of the hotels have onsite mini markets that have a small selection of fresh fruit and vegetables too...

Have a lovely trip!

the places I'm 100% sure do fruit are:-
- Market House Deli on Main Street USA
- New York Style Sandwichs in Disney Village

and the Casino store in the Station (The one closest to the Metro exit).

Your best choice of Fruit though at normal prices will be at Val d'Europe.    I think fruit is something like €0.90 - €1 in the Disney food outlets.

When I went with my grandson who is into body building ,and part of diet was fresh fruit ,so I went to reception and asked where I could buy fresh fruit,I nearly fell over when she told us to go to beaver creak tavern and help ourselves because they don't charge for it.And that was just last year.

during our last trip in May 2012, we saw some of the carts selling apples and bananas, particularly the one in discoveryland near autopia... be sure to wash the apples at the drinking fountains though, or peel them if you manage to smuggle a small knife/potato peeler into the park...you never know who touched those apples before

on another note, I am pretty sure you can also get fruit at the gas sation over at santa fe or try the train station, it has a lot of shops.
If you use them within 1 or 2 days, I think it is also safe to buy some over at la vallée village

Thanks! I'll give those a look too. Which bit is Valle Village by the way? Is that different to Disney Village?
