Are the hotel prices for AP holders set prices of do they fluctuate?
What should i be expecting to pay to say the sequioa lodge if i have a AP.

It really seems to vary with the AP rates.  I just called for a four night stay at the end of September for two adults and a teen with Dream APs and was quoted 168,50€ per night (breakfast included) at the Sequoia

Thanks for that info,  what I'm really trying to do is get a feel for hotel only prices and decide if it's worth it or not.  Would you have a general per night price list of the other hotels you have stayed at?
Any chance you have stayed at the crockett ranch for a hotel only rate?  That's where we love staying but haven't heard of anyone using theyre APs for discount prices.

As it happens, I also priced Davey Crockett when I called today.  It was 147 per night and does not include breakfast.  This summer we did a relatively last minute booking, for a weekend in June and were stunned to get 125€per night for a Premium cabin there (still no breakfast) with 3 adults and a teen staying.

Wow,  that's a great price..  That's what's really making me want to get APs. Just the fact we can go around whenever hotel prices are cheapest. Or even stay off site if needs be. Would you recommend APs?

A&S&O

We decided to bite the bullet and renew in person before the prices rise, but...

When we got to the passport office we were told that we couldn't have Shareholders discount and the free extra 6 months - its one or he other - so we declined both.

Our passes expire on August 17th, but we can't come next year until August 18th, so the extra 6 months suited us ( we actually only need an extra 2 weeks). So we'll start afresh next August and hopefully that pass wiĺl do for the begining of  August 2018!

Also, we found you can only use shareholders discount in person, as they need to physicaly see the card.

Thanks evryone for your help about renewing.

we've really enjoyed them (we got ours Christmas week).  I think a lot depends on how much you enjoy just hanging out in the parks. how close you are, etc.

For us, it's a 5 hour drive to DLP, so it is pretty cheap and easy to get there when we want.

We've had 10 nights offsite with those, so just parking all those nights nearly pays for one pass.  And then we stayed a weekend at Davey Crockett's for 125 a night and a full week over Easter at Santa Fe for about 75 a night--plus we've used the discount for meals and shopping quite a bit.
We plan to be back for two more weekends this year (long weekend at the end of September and also for my birthday in December)---so we've really used the passes a lot-----without them we wouldn't have spent more than one week at DLP this year

75 a night at the e santa fe is a great price aswell.  I think ill go for the dream APs aswell so,  thanks for the info.
Really appreciated...

Has anybody got that link to the proposed AP price hikes and changes.

Does anyone know if we can renew APs early?  We will be in the parks the first weekend in October, so that would be convieneint to renew--but they passes do nto expire until mid December so I am afraid they would not let us renew so soon . . .

Slimy yet satisfying

No. You cannot renew your pass until 2 months before it expires. Sorry.
