Just a very brief summary of our trip from the end of last month.
We booked a 2 night stay at the hotel Cheyenne, and were a little concerned by some reviews of it, we shouldnt have been!
Arrived before luch and checked in, rooms not ready so parked up and headed for the park. We first looked for somewhere to eat and ended up at Caseys Corner (as its one of the first places!)
Lovely cheese dogs and chips, set us all up for the day.
We then set off and hit the rides, Small world first (it has to be for me!) buzz lightyear, Pirates of the carribean, big thunder, automania and star tours being the favourites!
We came from the back of the castle for the parade and found there was virtually no one around where the parade start to the right of the castle. We decided to stay there and the crowds never really bult up at this are, we had a great view, right at the fron with not many people around. For the evening parade we decided to head down main street, as we did we found it to be really busy so we headed back up to the same place as the afternoon, again it was really quiet up there and was a great spot for the kids to get a really good view.
We headed to the room mid afternoon to un pack and our room was in the wyatt earp block. This was really close to reception and the amenities and the room itself was great, it was exactly what you need.
On going back to the park it was quite overcast and it proceeded to rain for a couple of hours. This turned out to be great, our ponchos came out and the crowds disappeared, we spent all afternoon and evening jumping on and off rides. We did a lot of the smaller ones that we might not have otherwise queued for and ended up gettin a lot more done on the first day than we anticipated!
On day 2 we went for emh into DIsenyland, primarily looking to do Big Thunder mountain, we were quite gutted to find that area was not open! We stayed for a while until it was, doing Pirates, Robinsons Treehouse and Big thunder and then headed to the studios, backlot tour, stunt show, slinky ride. Would have liked to have done crush's coaster but the wait was nearly 2 hours!! We then did some shopping before heading back to the room for a bit, at this point feet were sore and kids were shattered, we hadnt stopped for 2 days!
We booked dinner for 8 that night at the chuck wagon in the hotel Cheyenne. For us this was a great place to eat, had lots of things that we all could eat, ribs, chicken, curry, sausage too much to remember, we then returned to eat there before setting off for home the following night!
Final day was spent having a last go on the most liked rides, and shopping.
We booked the half board dinner package and would not hesitate to do this again.
A fantastic couple of days.

Sounds like you had a lovely time! I'm thinking of staying at the Cheyenne for my next trip so it's nice to hear a positive review :) We never got to go on Crush's Coaster on our trip either as we just couldn't face queuing for 80 minutes :( Lovely report, thanks for sharing! :)

Thanks for sharing your report.  :D
We stayed three times at the Cheyenne and always liked it.
(Was the rainy day Friday, 27th? It stopped raining right for Dreams and
so we could get quite a good spot to watch it.)
