Strange things are happening.............

On monday there were 2 large sreens  in front of Central Plaza stage, Hakuna Matata restaurant was closed early the the area roped off in preparation for a VIP event (going from Adventureland to Frontierland or Indiana Jones meant going via Adventure Isle) and I spotted who I am sure was Tom Fitzgerald, Executive VP & Senior Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering, with about 6 other people (not your typical tourist types) stood by the Pirate Ship (covered in scafolding) in Adventureland!!!

You know you have it bad when you get excited at seeing a Disney exec in person!!!!

If anyone has anymore info, please share

Tom F is in charge of Imagineering in California and Paris so he's coming over to our resort quite a bit. Nothing to worry about, he was probably just inspecting.

Hopefully Tom Fitzgerald was there to persuade them to cancel the Pirates of the Caribbean makeover, and get cracking on Star Tours: The Adventures Continue while it's still cutting-edge, and not 10 years from now.

There was a special event evening in the park... where special "deserving" cast members were presented with the "Walt Disney Legacy Award" ... Tom presented the awards on the hub stage in a special show that evening.

Well spotted by the way  ;)

We interviewed a cast member on DLP Newscast on Monday and he revealed that development had stopped - he doesn't know the reasons why, just that it has.

According to someone on DCP, Ratatouille is on hold, because ED SCA isn't getting any money from the banks to build the attraction.
