Oh hell those lasers do add something at the end!

I have seen Dreams twice in the opening week and do not agree to the best point of view discussion. If you are not tall enough you have no chance to see the projections at the castle entrance and for me these are fantastic. So I prefer to be at the front row. But it's right that the laser effects and the music is not as good as standing more in the back. So perhaps, see it twice from different ancles.
As I saw it, the people climbed over on the flowerbeds on central plaza and there were no CMs who did sth against it. So the people who stood behind the flowerbeds had noch chance to see, because there is a little hill in the flowerbeds. It it still like this or are there CMs?

Dreams blew us all away, it was a very emotional storyline that took us all through childhood to now parenthood. We all enjoyed it immensely, and any changes that had been made to the show we did not notice, it had very little impact on our enjoyment. It was fantastic, and cleverly done.  We did see men scaling the castle wall before the start of the show, and i'm sure any changes made, would be for their safety, and for our continued enjoyment of the show. If something didn't work properly , i'm sure that is the reason it would have been scrapped.

Dreams is absolutely insane. No video can do it justice, you really need to see it in person to appreciate it. Unlike most people on here, I actually found that the show is better up-close. I just loved the way the show towered above you when your closer.

We watched the show 3 times, starting at the end of Main Street and getting closer each time till we were at the safety rope and each night it got better.

I reeeally want to see it!! I've watched the video but I bet it is 100 times better in real life! Going in September and can't wait! We're going for three nights so if the view where we stand the 1st night isn't very good we can move to a different view spot and hope its better

I haven't seen 'Dreams' yet, that pleasure will come next month, but strangely as you have stated I have been wondering that if you are too far away from the show then you might miss the majesty of it all. I have taken on board the comments of others who have seen the show, but I can't help wondering if close up would be best.
I guess I'll see next month :thumbs:

Like others said, you really do see more and get a fuller picture standing back but I just loved the sensation of being fully immersed in the show as the lasers danced above your head and the fountains soared above you. Much more impressive.
