Budding secret agents will be given a license to thrill when the first ever Spy Camp at Disneyland Paris is staged on 8th October 2011.

In the most exciting event of its kind ever staged in Europe, Spy Camp at Disneyland Paris will offer youngsters aged 8 to 16 an exclusive chance to emulate their movie heroes by taking part in a spy-themed adventure at the resort.

Spy Camp is divided into two phases, starting with induction training in the morning and moving up to more advanced training in the afternoon.

Participants will learn the secrets of the espionage world from experienced trainers and put their spy skills to the test in a series of specially-devised challenges ranging from code-breaking and surveillance to dodging laser alarms and a combat zone. Those who successfully complete the course will be recognised at the passing out ceremony.

Trainee agents will need courage, cunning and agility to prove they have what it takes to follow in the footsteps of James Bond, Spy Kids and MI:High.

Spy Camp at Disneyland Paris is being organised by UK-based specialist company Spy Games Ltd, which has been running spy-themed activities and events for children and adults all over the country and overseas since 2001.

Founder Dave Thomas, a former SAS instructor and surveillance expert, said: "We're hugely excited to be taking the Spy Camp experience to Disneyland Paris and pulling out all the stops to create a stunning new and immersive experience for children and young people.

"It's a fantastic way to make the ultimate family holiday even more memorable. Not only do youngsters get to enter the world of espionage for a day but it gives parents some time to themselves to explore the resort, safe in the knowledge that their children are having the time of their lives."
