When the original Main Street Electrical Parade began in 1977, the folks at the American college football game in the United States called the Orange Bowl in Maimi, Florida (because of their contract with NBC at that time which carried the weekly Disney anthology) capitalized with Walt Disney World for the Orange Bowl's halftime show for January 2, 1978, a Monday as New Year's Day fell on a Sunday that year.  Happily, a video was posted on YouTube for the first time in nearly three decades.
