Hi everyone!

Long story short: I'm going to DLP in July with my SO, and I'm planning on proposing to her there. We fell in love in the park some years ago, and we're both massive Disney fans.

We're booked for three nights at the NY hotel, and I'd love some help with finding the best spot to actually pop the question in. I'd love for someone to photograph it, but apart from that, we're private people, so the middle of Main Street won't cut it. Any great ideas?

The only place that springs to mind is inside the castle, on the gallery (maybe even the balcony outside). It's often fairly quiet, but you obviously can't get a photo with the castle in the background. Other than that, you have the "normal" option of doing it at a restaurant or on the balloon ride if that's open.

Do you have any special places like the ride you both love the most or the restaurant where you had dinner on your first visit?

Hmmm, not really! The entire park is special to us I guess

If she has a favorite character maybe try and organize it with a character meet and greet if that is something she would like???

I've read that they have a Special Activities department, that help with these kinds of things, but from what I have read, they seem somewhat pricy! Anyone have any experiences using this service?

I like the idea of the character thing! That way, you could ask the CM/minder to take a photo of the two of you with the character (if there isn't a photographer there) and then you could propose while you pose for a photo, and hopefully it will be caught on camera!! Or if your camera has video mode perhaps get them to video it instead!! It will be as much a surprise for everyone as it will for your future fiancée!!

Special Activites are crazy crazy expensive if you want to hire a character / make sure they are out.

You obviously need to check meet and greet times too as if her favourite character isn't out that could be a problem.

How about by the wishing well? You could both make a wish beforehand. Then you can propose, and if she says yes, then you can tell her your wish came true
