aww I love the disney cat series! theres a Lucifer pin!!! and the princess and the frog set. I think I am going to have to mail order some of those

I'm the same...well I hope to go earlier in the year between march and may *fingers crossed*...so hoping they are all still available!
I'm going at the end of January, so as long as people send me Euros (as well as British money for postage) in advance, I don't mind buying them for people whilst I'm there. :) Like you say though, they're Core pins, so I'm sure they'll be available throughout the year.

:P You're welcome. I offered because I remember that when I went in January of this year, it took me ages to track down the Core Cheshire pin that's already been released. These cat pins might be pretty popular, so if people would rather be safe than sorry, then I'm glad to help!

hahaha me to since technically I said I wouldnt buy pins for 3 months, never said michael couldnt buy me some from DLRP XD as Im hoping to get the Stitch experiment pins (all released so far) and a few older DLRP stitch pins that I would like.

Im guessing thats new as from April you have the New Generation of characters arriving at DLRP and I think that framed set is to coincide with that as -

the price is on the bottom right hand corner of the frame 82.90€ ? and judging by the reflection the photo was taken in the Haringdons on mainstreet (I know how sad I sound right now, there is no excuse for it) and it has to be new for 2 reasons 1. as you guys have said. its the new gen characters and 2. its Disneyland Paris (no resort) and they have only just changed that on brochures, ads etc.
I might have to see about mail ordering this one, or a trip ...

any news on releases for April yet?? I dont know where to look for the releases as the main site has releases up to february 2010 and I cant find anything on Dizpins lol anyone know where else they are posted as thought they would be up by now seeing as the last release for March is Saturday.

and might I say - what a waste of pin releases for the month of April, as how many Tinkerbell pins do they need!!! Im not impressed by that pin release schedule what so ever.
That's really a waste of pin releases. For me most of the Disneyland Paris pin releases are a waste of pins, since I'm not so interested in characters. Most of the time they just release princesses, stitch or tinkerbell.
I wouldnt say all pin releases for DLRP are a waste of pins as some of them are really nice looking just not for what I collect, Fair enough I collect stitch pins but they have been releasing only 1 pin of stitch per month and thats due to the pin being a 12 pin series lol
But for April the pins a waste for everyone BUT tinkerbell collectors, I mean could of been a great time to release pins to coincide with New Generation (I know they did that in march release but could of done a few more characters) or a new Princess Tiana as she is being welcomed to DLRP next month.
Just I was looking forward to seeing some great LE pins for my other half to pick me up for trades from the first April release and there all core and dont think they would be great traders XD

I want the Stars n Cars Mary Poppins pin. I love Tink but not keen on them releases.
Just a note on that Disneyland Paris framed pin set.
I bought this set at Harringtons on 07th March and the cast memeber told me it WAS a limited edition, but the frame does not have any details to confirm this. The price was 89.90 euros

We were in DLRP in February and we already have withdrawal symptoms so I can totally sympathise Aveen.
Our annual passes run out in August so we're hoping to get out there for a day, finances allowing :cry: if not then we'll have to wait for our next trip in 2011 :(
At least we can now renew the passes online but its not the same....

I used the link for May's releases and just changed the URL at the end from may to June and all that showed up was June 2009 where as April showed me 2010 ...so I guess I will be checking this from time to time to see if the releases are up.

Here's the June 2010 releases, i love the new Stitch Experiment pin and the Lilo and Stitch Stars and Cars pin. Not sure about the other pins though, like the mickey and minnie heart pins. Wasn't Valentines Day in Feburary???

Another pin release I really don't like. I'm so jealous on the American resorts. There they offer so many great and different pins and what does DLRP? Each month another series of characters, nothing park related.

We saw this set while on our recent trip 13th-18th June we only saw it in Disney Gallery in Disney Village & in Harringtons though,fingers crossed it will be there next month for you,i bought a really good lanyard which is alot wider than most which had this design on the bottom as a medal for 15euros :)

The art of animation store is inside the studios opposite Animagique and right next to the Art of Disney Animaion attraction, You can either go through the attraction or there is a serpaerate entrance just to the right of the Queuing area just tucked slightly round the corner. Hope this helps

Hope you are well. I've had an eventful week. Pintrading with people all over the USA and some in Europe. And mainly multi trades which is always fun.
My May pins arrived this week and Soraya sent me a Tinkerbell lanyard which is sooo pretty!!! :D/ Looking forwards to seeing August's pins. Hopefully there will be pins to mark the opening of Toy Story Land!!!!

Fly_with_me_dumbo, last October When I was there there were a lot of attraction pins. Plus there is an attraction deluxe lanyard set, which the lanyard is pretty cool!

wow those pins you have are great :D I only have a few attraction pins, and thought am I jsut gonna stick with attraction pins with mickey or minnie on? but now seeing these I wont, I really like the haunted mansion one and space mountain one :D Oh and the actual DLRP ones! haha :D
I'm getting very excited for Disney :D I'm gonna be spolit for choice when i get there as to what pins to buy, as I dont have loads of money to spend! :( such an expensive hobby!. Hopefully I'll get a few attraction ones off cm lanyards.
As pin trading is less popular in Paris than Florida it is easier to try and get a laynard set pin from a cm. I've manage to pick up a few in the past I'd say wait until near the end of your trip before you buy the set if you're intending to as you may find the ones you're after before that.

I would have to agree with Eager Eyes as i liked the lanyard and attraction pins but already had Tink with pirate ship(traded with Seans sister) and managed to get Space Mountain and Minnie carousel the 2nd day we were in dlrp from cm lanyards,we even traded for 2 Star Tours pins from cm lanyards which Colin was thrilled about :D definately if pins you are thinking of buying are core pins/in most shops wait til end of your trip for LE pins however i would say buy when you see them as they may not be there when you go back.

I can remember one fateful trip when I found a cute little Tink inside a lantern, very similar to the one released here recently only slightly better. Anyway, I only bought one, planning to buy some more for trading later on. But when I went looking for it there were none left. Anywhere. :cry: I found out not long after that the reason for this was they'd made a slight boo boo and released the pin in Paris when it should have been released in the states. So they recalled them. Needless to say I was kicking myself, still am, that I never bought any to trade. :evil:
So heed my tale of woe pin traders. If you like it then snap it up for you never know when they may make that mistake again!!!

Hi,
It's a bit early for August releases. There is always a big event in August,sometimes two. A PTN followed by a PTD which can prove expensive but is also great fun. You get to meet loads of traders and make new friends, do some trading and just have a great time.
I reckon next week will be the best time to check for August releases.
I kinda hope there won't be too many [-o< because I have spent a lot on pins over the past two months.
Our bank account is under a lot of strain :D
Totted up our trades and purchases for this week alone and we have 31 pins coming our way. :shock:
And that doesn't include June July's pins coming from DLP :lol:

Got my 7 Dwarves pin from DS. Its a lot better than I thought it would be. Very sweet. Also got two of the
'Little Ones 'series of pins. :D/ I now have Remy,and Nemo and Pearl. Simon commented that I was so excited only dogs could hear me.

no problem sean, it does seem the September and October releases only have 2 Saturday releasae's where as it can be 3-4 depending where the saturdays fall.
And I thought there should be a stitch experiment pin on there as would of been pin number 12 as thats how many should be in te set but we are short 1 now..Ive emailed DLRP to ask if there is a 12th pin in the series (as it says on the back of each pin) will let you all know when I find out.
oh, i never thought about the last stitch experiment pin! Lets hope you get a hopeful reply!

:) Maybe. Apparently the only pin that sold out from the Pin Trading Day was the LE 400 Zero pin. The other two pins (LE 600 Mayor and LE 600 Jack) are still available as far as I know. So fingers crossed for you!

I dont even mean Le pins, I know they often have ones left over in the cabinet i just mean your normal core ones. I reaalllllly want some halloween pins :( think i like celebration ones :D, can add them to my event/ attraction/ lot!

Loving the Stitch Scorpio pin and the pin with Reuben. Those two are actually already on PinPics, because they were pre-released at the Pin Trading Night in October. The Angel pin is beautiful as well. :)
Will Disneyland Paris ever stop releasing Stitch pins? Most of the single pins are Stitch releated. It's getting boring.
Stitch is my FAV character, so it doesnt bother me! But i definitley want all those Stitch pins, especially the Reuben pin!
the reuben pin doesnt look great as the image on pinpics is of the actual pin and it looks a bit crap if Im totally honest with you.
the reat of the stitch pin I dont really need but that may change when I see then in January...

I like the Walt Disney Imagineering pin. There should be more of them. I'm happy to see that there is just one Stitch pin. The others are okay but nothing special and worth to have.

Daft thing is they list the disneypins.com at the bottom of all their releases - yet none of their stuff is on their!! Need to pull their fingers out.

There are still pins available that came out in 2009/2010 (mainly princesses though).
The LE's, depends ... those lockets seem to go fast, and the Ariel St Patricks Day was sold out within the day?
Some LE's are still available days later, you just have to really look for them.

I've heard a little about Disney mailorder, I've really wanted the princess locket pins which have been released over the last few months, but we can't afford to go each month! We were there the week after one of them was released in September, but they'd sold out on release weekend! Can these pins be ordered direct on their week of release? (I've tried ebay, they've quadroupled in value!)
