We don't seem to have a topic for this new Jerry Bruckheimer film that is now finally in development.
It was announced yesterday that Johnny Depp will play the sidekick, Tonto!
As if Disney + Western + Bruckheimer epic wasn't enough to get me excited.
This sounds very promising, wouldn't it be cool if they sneak some BTM references in there too! :mrgreen: I'll be keeping an eye on this project, thanks for telling us Ant :)
I've never seen anything to do with the Lone ranger but with the combination of Bruckheimer, depp and disney I'm sure it will be awesome.

Read about it on IMDB yesterday that Johnny Depp was playing Tonto, my sister then told me that he was offered the role of 'The Lone Ranger' but then turned it down and was like 'I want to be Tonto' which I thought was really quite cool!

Chosing someone who has never scored a movie is a bit risky, but I hope he will deliver a good score. I only know him from the band The White Stripes.
According to Jerry Bruckheimer The Lone Ranger will do the same for western movies, like POTC did for the pirates genre.
