Hi,
You know the TV show from 1992, the Grand Opening of Euro Disney? Well, I was wondering, does anyone have, or has anyone compiled a list of all the music performed during the show? I'd like to have a list of all the songs performed, in the order they were performed. So far I've got:
Angela Lansbury - Beauty And The Beast
Gypsy Kings - Pida Me La
Tina Turner - The Best
Gloria Estefan - Live For Loving You
Cher - The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)
I recall that the Four Tops and Temptations performed a medley of songs together, but I can't remember what. And also there was Jose Carreras singing something?
Ok, well I'm almost there. I've got an accurate list, in the correct order, except for 2 things. I don't know the name of the song Jose Carreras sang, plus I don't know where Cher's Shoop Shoop Song comes in the list. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it:
Gypsy Kings - Pida Me La
Gloria Estefan - Live For Loving You
The Temptations - Get Ready
The Four Tops - It's The Same Old Song
The Temptations - Ain't Too Proud To Beg
The Four Tops - Baby I Need Your Lovin'
The Temptations - I Can't Get Next To You
The Four Tops - I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)
José Carreras - ?
Angela Lansbury - Beauty And The Beast
Tina Turner - The Best
Cher - The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)
I think Cher was first wasn't she? At least in the way they broadcast it.
Cher might've been first, but I honestly don't know. I don't have the UK version of the show. I only have the US version of Melanie Griffith. I used to have the UK version of the show on VHS, but that tape is now dead.
Yes Cher was the first to sing. At least in the US version. Tina Turner was the last one
I remember watching that show. Any idea how/if you can get hold of it now?
You can certainly find a couple of musical clips from the show on YouTube:

You can buy all of those songs on iTunes, so now you can make your own Grand Opening of Euro Disney Playlist.
I updated my 21st of March 2008 post, with links to all of the songs on iTunes.
Spanish artist Alejandro Sanz was also on this playlist, I think he was the last to perform, but his performance was not seen in all countries.
