Title: Disney Hotel Pins
Post by: Anonymous on September 11, 2007, 06:18:58 PM
Okay, I've only stayed at Sequoia Lodge so far, so the only Hotel pin I have is Sequoia Lodge which features Chip N' Dale.

Who is featured on the other hotel pins?

I'm staying at Santa Fe next week so I'm planning on getting a Santa Fe pin. Hope it's a cool character!

Hey Prince,

we also "collect" pins from where we stayed - which is only Santa Fe & Cheyenne until now
In 12 days our next trip starts and this time we'll stay at the Newport Bayclub and buy a pin of it ;)!
If you like, I scan the Santa Fe one for you?!

Does anyone know wheather every pin you buy from your hotel is only 3 Euros?? I remember we only payed 3 Euros for each pin we bought at the hotel shops...

What character is it?

How about a little "please", Dark Prince?   ;)

No problem, I'll take a photo of the two pins tomorrow when there's natural light :) But noone knows whether they're only 3 Euros at each hotel? *g*

Oh, and I wouldn't like it if you couldn't sleep cause of curiousity ;) (well, I hope they didn't change the pins so that I tell the truth):

Hotel Cheyenne = Mickey
Hotel Santa Fe = ... somehow Mickey, too?!

Are there different hotel pins?!

It's a pine cone on the Sequoia Lodge pin, not a leaf.

spent my entire deluded disney life thinking the sequoia motif was a sequoia leaf not an open pine cone. thanks for putting me right dark prince.

The hotel pins cost 6 Euros as the normal pins. No 3 Euros offer.

Hey Nala, did you know they've re-released the hotel pins since these? These are the original 2001 versions. The "new" ones don't have a full varnish but are painted in metal cells (I don't know what the proper word is) like most other pins, and bigger too. For some reason they phased out any printed and varnished pins.

They all still have the same design.

Ah, that's interesting! Thank you for the link Baloo :)

Really strange, why do we have the old ones?!  ;)
Well and I made a mistake, too: It was the Cheyenne pin we bought in 2004 because we stayed at the Cheyenne in 2004   And maybe... I somehow thought we buyed the Santa Fe pin when we stayed there in 2005... and I'm really really sure we found it at the Emporium for sale, 3 Euros instead of 6! Did they really abolish that special offer, or is that only randomly?
