For now, here's a photo of our group from December 2004 on Pirates of the Caribbean. I look so immensely happy because we'd just queued for 45mins on December 29th (don't ask us why - we'd done POTC in the morning with a 2min queue!) and then got in the front two rows!

When i went to Disneyland Paris, I love the rides, so i bought 4 out of 5 of the ride photos in the resort. (If im Correct; Buzz, SM, POTC, RNRC and BTM are the 5 Photo Rides ? )

they vary really.. you can buy I think 2 x a5 for 18 euro, that's what we normally get.
what about one larger one?

well, that's a strange thing with me ;)! In fact, I am afraid of roallercoasters in general; f.e. I'd never go onto inverted coasters, freefall towers or something like that!
It's like that: I really trust in Disney and the security of their rides. The thing I'm most afraid of on coasters are big drops... Loopings f.e. aren't that bad for me. I already rode BTM (which is still my favourite ride at DLRP!) and Indiana Jones at DLRP. My boyfriend rode SM:M2 last time and promised me taht I could take it if I could take Indy. A friend of mine (Disneyana on this forum) promised me, too, and so I thought that I really just should give it a try. And it was pretty wild, really!! I guess it's really wilder than Indy, f.e. But it's really just a few seconds of your life and nothing bad can happen to you :)!
After trying SM:M2 it was nearly no problem for me to try Crush's Coaster, and although this ride is pretty wild, too, I loved it because it's just so much fun! I nearly screamed all the time during SM and Crush's, but after the rides I was just so happy that I had the courage to do it, and this is really satisfying ;)! But I didn't go on RnRC, maybe I'll try it next time, it was really enough action for me with SM:M2 ;)! And yes, my dad found SM also pretty shocking and wild, he always looks like this on fast coasters :D

Sorry for being offtopic though :oops: But I also wanted to say that we paid 20 Euros for 2 pictures in the nice A5-frame you can see on the picture ;)!
They had two different prices for ride photos when we were there from the 11 - 13th of this month. It was 20 euros and 15 euros. The 15 euro option is in a nice 3D cardboard frame, the 20 euros one may be a plastic frame, and is slightly bigger, but as we went for the 15 euros options I can't be sure what the frame was made of.

From what i've heard its just before the cannon launch, and it used to by during the launch on Mission 1. Not too sure though.
The picture is taken right after you leave the station and are about to enter the Canon, right before the ''first (very little) drop''...
BTW, on that picture, the reason why I look so amused is because I was laughing at Patmagic with his funny hat :lol: :twisted:

Sorry to correct you but, no its not. Its the little drop after youve turned the corner from the station just before your catapulted in the cannon.
it used to be there in "mission 1" but owain is correct i believe come out the station round the corner and before you drop into the cannon there is a small flash

The camera was always before you go up the cannon tube during the first little drop. That's the best place, in my oppinion, because everybody (greenhorns of course :wink: ) is waiting for the launch and then... a sudden drop and picture!

I have a really funny one on PoTC where I'm trying to smile directly at the camera. I ended up with a stupid smile on my face and I'm only looking in the vague direction of the camera. The final result = me looking completely and utterly insane. My partner has showed everyone so I'm not embarrassed to show it here but it's at his house at the mo, so you'll have to wait!

Its really not all that bad a ride Nala, I would say RnR is way more intense than ToT!
ToT is more fun than anything... Even if you are sat next to Madame_Leota who is swearing all the way through the preshow until the first drop lol! :lol:

I fully agree! I promised my sister that I'd go on RnRC next year if we are able to get to Disney...now I'm wishing I hadn't promised! lol
But we've also made a deal to go on ToT so that's why I have to go on RnRC.
I'm scared of hights, fastness, going upside-down and basically big coasters...what am I getting myself in for!
I can tell you now there is no way anyone is getting my on any coasters :| LOL my son and nephew think they will ! i can assure you they wont ! LOL

Here is myself and my son on our very first ride on the Tower Of Terror on 02.12.08 (back left - highlighted). My 12 year old boy feels he is too old for cuddles any more and won't even kiss us goodnight. From the momemnt we strapped in, he held my coat, by the time we started moving he was clenching my hand, and as you can see, wehn we dropped he was burying himself into my arm! :D :D :D . Not so cool after all.

Incidentally, on my second ride I was sat next to this man who had a model girlfriend and was "painfully cool". He too ended up grabbing my arm when we dropped - must be something about the big duvet jacket - people reach fro it for security!

when you take 2 smaller pictures is one for 10€ and when you take a bigger one it's abou 18€ i think... :wink:
Well me and my friend was pretty irritated by the extremely expensive on-ride photos on our latest trip, so halfway through the trip we decided to make some silly poses and situations. Not to ruin peoples photos in any way, but to give them a laugh before they watched the price :lol:

Please note that these were made with fun in my mind - nothing was did to ruin any experience for anyone. We were annoyed by the expensive prices (come on, 20 € for 2 photos in carton frames???) and knew that if people wanted their photo and didn't want us in it they can zoom us out - we only did it, when we were in the back or front row - not in the middle where it could ruin a photo...
:lol: A man after my own heart! I would still have bought one even with you being daft in it. I dont buy many on ride photos but I like to get a couple even at that price and you and your friend add to the giggle factor! :lol:
Ha ha - they're brilliant. We limit ourselves to one per trip as they are so costly. I love our PotC one after I got the CM to let me on the front as it was my birthday. They than sand Bon Anniversaire to be over the tannoy.

Well, only twice on my latest trip I continued me and my friends tradtion from the summer of makin silly on-ride-photos in protest to the crazy prices. Both times on Big Thunder Mountain and it was even the same uncreative and obvious winter prank, but here you go :-)

@Sebassah: that photo is crazy!?! :lol: I wonder how they succeeded in opening the seat belt while riding - I would think it was locked and I am sure the CM wouldn't allow the elevator to begin without all green lights turned on in the front of the elevator :P But funny it is and it seems quite intended by the four guys :lol:

I see that the last post before you is from 2011. Due to the change in the forum software a while back, photos that was put up here before the change isn't going to be shown unless each post it mannually changed. So photos added before the change isn't gonna be shown anymore.
