Title: Cheyenne or Santa Fe
Post by: Dw on January 13, 2020, 11:31:56 PM
Hi all,

I am planning a visit to Disneyland Paris and am torn between the Santa Fe and Cheyenne hotels. I would be really grateful of some pros and consoles each. I am travelling with 6 and 3 year old boys.

Thinks in advance

Al Th Pugh the cars theme in room is nice the surroundings... like the large concrete volcano are a bit of a let down. Cheyenne looks like a Wild West town the theming is great and the food area is less canteen like so I'd recommend that everytime

The Cheyenne is MUCH nicer than the Santa Fe which is ridiculous considering the minimal difference in price between them. It's just a much nicer place aesthetically and the room are up to date and in good condition. The theming is much better - honestly the Cheyenne is the best themed hotel in the resort.

The Santa Fe is the hotel I won't stay in, the Cheyenne is often my first choice for price point and comfort.

I would agree with all that's been said above. The Cheyenne is one of our favourite hotels. To throw a spanner in the works have you had a look at the Sequoia Lodge. This is sometimes priced fairly similar to the Cheyenne. The Sequoia has a great theme and it is easier to get to the parks walking through the Village

I really like the Cheyenne. Great theme throughout the whole hotel area and clean, comfortable, newly refurbished rooms. The Santa Fe is ok. There is often a price difference of just a few pounds between the Cheyenne and the Santa Fe, and the Cheyenne is much better value for the money I would say.

That said, I would still stay in the Santa Fe again. You spend so little time in the rooms anyway, all that really matters is that they're clean and comfy, which they are.

I'm trying to decide this too. I've been designated planner for a family trip in 2023. Most likely we will need 2 rooms, so price may be the deciding factor at the time of booking. I need to make a list of pros and cons for each, as I am just the gatherer of information, the booking decision will be made by someone else.
