My partner and I are taking her mum to DLP in October. We have been plenty of times but it's my wife's mum's first trip, at the tender age of 84. We are concerned about the amount of moving around she will need to do and we are thinking about hiring or taking a wheelchair. We are staying in the Davy Crockett Ranch and we a driving across.
Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions on how we go about this?
Is there wheelchair hire in or around Disney or the hotels and if so is it just for park use or can you hang on to it for your stay?

I hired a wheelchair in Disneyland park and when it was time to leave I asked at the hire shop if I could take it back to the hotel,they agreed that I could but had to leave a large deposit on my card which was replayed back on the card.
That was in 2016 so it may have changed
