Title: best parking option when staying offsite and no AP
Post by: zomigi on September 18, 2019, 11:40:40 AM
We are going to DLP October 19-24. We will only be in the parks 3 of those days, but probably will go to Disney Village another 1 or 2 days. We are considering staying at an apartment offsite and have no annual passes.

I'm confused by the different parking options and how far away they are from the parks. I've heard that the Indigo parking at Disney Village is close, but I can't find it on Google Maps to calculate precise driving and walking times. What's its address? And where is the official Disney car park?

We have a two-year-old, so want to minimize walking time as much as possible. What's the best place to park for this?

Unless you are set on an apartment way out I would be inclined to go for one of the closer hotels such as Dream Castle etc. They have a free shuttle to the parks.

We can't afford one of those hotels unfortunately.

OK. The Disney car park is €30 per day and is probably your closest option if you want to have total flexibility with your 2 year old. I don't know if you can leave and return later the same day using the same parking ticket tho'? I know that some people take little ones back for a nap or some pool time in the afternoon if it is particularly cold or a late night. You may find that adding daily parking charges may make a big difference to your costs so its worth exploring hotels and apartments that include free or low cost shuttles. Im not sure that there is enough going on in the village to merit more than a few hours unless you are having a meal or going to the cinema tho. You would still need to pay for your parking too.

The car park at the village is at the northern end of the Avenue Paul Séramy, details are at

As the 24 hour price is "only" 24 € it is cheaper to park there if you pay normal price at the Disney lot.

If you stay near a stop of the RER train line A you could look at that. One way tickets are 2,10 per person, so that might be cheaper than paying parking at Disney.
