Title: Vegan Dining Options
Post by: Qscout on August 22, 2019, 05:16:15 PM

We have been to DLP loads!! and have a vegan in our party, we have found the buffets to be the best option, for us as there is a wider choice.

However, on our last visit we were severely disappointed with Beaver Creek, any vegetable dishes were cooked in butter or covered in cheese. So bad in fact the server said she would bring something out, and brought cold pre-packed soup, which cost us the full buffet price and was so bad it was practically inedible.

This time we were going to book Cape Cod as we are staying in Newport  Bay. Does anyone know if there are many options for vegans?

Oddly enough we find the Grange at Billy Bobs the best as it has a salad bar and the make you own fajitas section.

Park plaza is mediocre, Agrabah was a bit of a let down as we thought its moroccan themeing would lend to a lot of pulses and falafel type dishes.

I would love to go to Captain Jacks but can't find out if the veg curry is suitable for vegans, or if the chef can do anything special, I wouldn't want to ruin the evening for those that couldn't get something nice to eat. Does anyone have any experience of captain jacks?
