Thank you whoever posted that Disney was experimenting with online dining reservations on their Dutch site. I've been able to make several reservations for our November trip that way. I hate making phone calls, and phone rates from the US are too high. Sometimes I was even able to change the language to English in the middle of making the reservation. Has anyone actually used any reservations booked this way? I have the confirmation emails from Disney but I'm still a little nervous.
I used it on my last trip and there were no problems at all. Keep the confirmation emails but I had no need to show them, just turned up to the restaurant at the right time.
I missed the memo about this lol, so am absolutely overjoyed to have just used it - I opened the Dutch page in Chrome so it auto-translates into English. Very straightforward! VERY useful.

It is still in testing at the moment hence why it isn't available on all sites and they do take it up and down for updates/maintenance.
I still booked by phone and found that easier as they told you when restaurants were closed so could change our bookings. Does the online reservations allow you to see when a restaurant is shut and change your booking if needed?

No idea about changing the booking because I didn't try. I suspect not with the set up I had and if you needed to you'd have to ring them. Although that being said you could just make another booking for another restaurant if need be and simply not bother turning up to your first.
As for showing which ones were closed - it doesn't let you book restaurants that are closed or full.
I used the Belgian site in November from the uk with no problems. It will only allow you to select restaurants that are open on your dates.
