Title: 12 year old ordering kids menu allowed?
Post by: kiki_304 on June 01, 2018, 09:30:23 PM
Hi, My 12 year old doesn't seem to like anything on the set menu offerings for the meal plan plus at the table service places.  I am wondering if he could choose different items to the value of the voucher. or if he orders the child's set menu and we pay cash for his meal instead of wasting a meal voucher?

Are either the above options allowed. I think I remember reading being able to order to the value, but not got a clue for my second question.

We used the voucher for a set child's meal in the Stakehouse which was a bit below the voucher value. I can't say for sure that age wasn't a factor but I think he was over 12 as he counted as an adult for most things that trip.

I think it will end up depending on how helpful the servers are at the actual time being.
So you might be able to get it sorted out no issue, or you might have to pay for his meal separately.
Not helpful I know, but sadly that's often the way things go in DLP :(
