Title: Attraction posters
Post by: Rocketeer on February 21, 2017, 08:46:30 PM
I guess this may have been asked before, but does anyone know if there is anywhere you can get the parks attraction posters in the UK?

Doesn't have to be specifically DLP either.

I know there's that on-demand service in Disney Village, but I'm not going to The Happiest Place in Europe any time soon. I would also assume that they are not able to offer the posters via the mail order service, or if they do, it probably costs a fair bit extra.

Any reccommendations welcome.

If I'm not mistaken, they were at some point offered on the Disney Store site, but unfortunately not anymore.

Ahh thanks.

Its a shame that our Disney stores are just toy stores and do not offer collectables and the like as they do in some of the US ones.

You were able to buy a set in Disneyland Paris that's where I got mine from. Not sure if the park still sells them or not. Maybe check out Ebay.

Was there last week and they have a pack of 10 posters of old artwork measuring 30×40cm for €19.99 in Harringtons. I bought a pack and they are lovely.

^Due to their size, I'm guessing those would be available through mail-order them?

EDIT: Just had a look on ebay (don't normally use it). Two listings for the poster pack. One at £69.99 and the other... £120!   :o

Not sure about mail order. Tried last week to buy art from Harringtons and they no longer offer postage to uk....at all.

Wow that's terrible. With UK vistors being the second in the attendance rankings, you'd think that there'd be no issue in offering postage to the country.

I wonder if that's the same for the Art on Demand as well then?

As I said, I'm not planning a trip anytime soon, but if I was, I'd be pretty disappointed to find that I couldn't purchase some of the items.

Nice one ED SCA.  >:(

Apparently there were issues with excess breakage claims. Was told I could buy the art and then take it to the post office in the train station. At 750 euros for the painting I don't think so! I also phoned EasyJet and they would only transport it in the hold...beside the pushchairs...also a NO! Tried to purchase a seat for it, as you can do with a cello but that was a no too. That's why I bought the prints, I was feeling baaaad  :(

we were there too last week and purchased the pack of 10 posters. We also purchased our 4th piece of art on demand. The service is about as good as you can get. The delivery very quick, we ordered Wednesday 15th and it arrived on Monday 20th. I wish I had bought more of the posters to put on EBay etc. Their prices are ridiculous
