Hey Hey Hey!!!!!!
We are back after a 3 year hiatus....well my lot are, my dearest disney pal might as well set up a bed in the Castle she visits so often!!!!
We are:

Bestest Pal
DD1 14 yo
DD2 11 yo
We are staying at Magic Circus where DisneyPal and I stayed on our sneaky no kids but plenty of wine and rollercoasters secret trip. We have 4 nights booked there and will be buying Fantasy APs (DisneyPal has her own Dream Pass). We are all so excited for the 25th Anniversary and the kids are much more brave now so hopefully this will be a thrill packed adventure!!!
A Bit of History
Last time we took the kids it was a recovery trip from a nasty family break up.....this time we are all pretty much healed, happy and healthy. So it will be interesting to see if we have a different attitude to the whole Disney experience, as in our previous lives it genuinely was our 'happy place' an escape from how horrid family life was. Now new family life is wonderful, I am 6 stone (yes.....really) lighter and this trip is a celebration not an escape....BRING IT ON!!!!!!! ;D

I can see from your ticker it's not long until your trip and you are staying in my favourite hotel. Haven't been in GF before...take photos please! :D Enjoy!!!

I never stayed at the SQL so I am very excited.

I am exactly the same. The previous 3 trips we have had, have been with ex-hubby. Last trip he totally ruined for me and the boys, and was the last straw to me finally chucking him out.
The previous trips have been escapes from reality for us too, but the last one was truly horrible..
We are going back in May, just booked it a couple of days ago. Going to stay at a different hotel, it will just be me and the boys, ready to make new - happy - memories from our favourite place. I never thought I would be able to go back, but we finally are! And I can't wait!!

Thank you. It really does feel like a whole new world...... (sorry couldn't resist!!!! Disney lyrics keep popping into my head!). My two girls are SOOOOO excited, and it's so different planning a trip with them knowing we are going. As they are much older than their last trip, they are fully involved in the planning. I shouldn't be surprised if all of our belongings are covered in Mickey heads before we go. Smallest DD has already painted Mickey heads on my toenails, and t-shirt printing is on the cards for next weekend. I think they are planning meals right now (ie which buffet they want to try.... that what Disney food means to them....unlimited trips to the dessert counter)

You will have such an amazing time and be able to focus simply on having fun with your boys rather than having to divert your attention to other less pleasant things. I bet you will find it a transfomation!!! I am making myself promise that I will do a proper trip report with pics as I was looking over the report I did when I went with my mum and it brought back so many happy memories ;D
