Title: Shareholders Club Disneyland Paris
Post by: Christiaanrem on January 14, 2016, 10:04:48 AM
So, i hear you can get a shareholders card for Disneyland Paris when you buy a minimum of 100 shares, however, the price of 1 share in DLP is 123k euro's!!! this seems a little bit out of reach for the general public person wouldnt you agree?

BUT i was wondering if this is still correct (Read of on some forum of 2-3 years ago)

Can anyone advise on this?  I've been reading the terms and it still says 100 shares, these are around 91p and we're considering getting them (husband has an online trading account so would just be moving some things around).  looking back in the history under search of the forum things were suspended previously.  I'm guessing the website would have the most up to date information, it seems to have been updated elsewhere for dates of shareholder events etc.

Think I've answered my own question - when clicking on become a member it comes up with the information about the shareholder club being on hold since Jan 2015 so am assuming this is still the case!

At the moment one share is worth 1 Euro and 23 cents.
As far as I know, there is no public information yet weather if that 100 shares would be enough or not for the shareholders club. I wouldn't bee surprised if the minimum number of shares would go up when they open the club again (if they do).

To be honest, I really doubt that they'll update the website until they open the club again.

The last official Position on this was that they are reevaluating the Membership criteria at the beginning of 2016. I think the minimum share requirement will be around 900-1000 shares but this is pure speculation at this point. Maybe the General Meeting will on February 17 will shed some light on this.

Yes this is what most other shareholders i have talked to whilst in salon mickey think too. We bought additional shares during the update and now have over 1000. I think that the requirements are likely to rise from 100 for new members and for existing ones when renewal is due.
