Title: whose your favourite character?
Post by: Disneyholics on January 05, 2016, 03:44:55 PM
Im in love with Jack Sparrow, but my eldest loves Belle and even got a Kiss from her which he loved. And my youngest loved Aladdin he chatted with him for ages, such cherishing moments. Would love to see the Beast and Sulley hopefully this time round :P

This is so hard to choose!

My favourite all-time princess is Belle, however I recently watched Tangled and now I also love Rapunzel - I also really like Stitch. There are no Disney character's I dislike! (although if I had to pick, Frozen is my least favourite Disney film, eek!)

For me it would be Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Genie from Aladdin.

My favorite character is Peter Pan.

He's one of the really fun ones to interact and/or see interaction with at Walt Disney World, especially the way he avoids at all costs girls crushing on him.

Maleficent and Jack Skellington are my absolute favourites.
But Goofy, Gaston, Peter Pan and Merida are a very close second.

It has changed throughout the years.

Since 2003 which was when i started visiting the parks on a regular basis It has gone from dopey to stitch to mickey to pluto to marie and now to thumper.

I think whoever i have a good meet and greet with is who my favourite character is at the time.

Always got a soft spot for Mickey though.

The fab 5 will forever and always be my favourites, and my favourite aspects of Disney. And then after that it has to be Chip n Dale and Peter Pan :)

Or you're realistic, you know the "friends" of most characters and you know that they WON'T be around ;)

Actually he wasn't out a few times in October.
He was out ONCE in September... because of new formation training.

Don't think the Beast has ever been out in DLP but I could be wrong - prince and princesses aren't really my thing.

Sully was out in October once when I was there and I'm assuming at some other point based on Instagram photos.

I don't think we can ever rule characters out 100% look at the CM party Mike was there as well as Stitch and Angel.

Plus there seems to be a lot more characters free roaming with so many ride closures.

No doubting who my favourite character is - it's Tigger every time! ! Favourite member of "the big 5" would be Goofy, favourite Princess would be Aurora and favourite villain has to be Maleficent.

Eeyore and Stitch are usually good for interaction at meet and greets.

I know he's not available but I would love The Horned King to be around at Halloween - now that would be scary!

(Going back a few years now) - I once met Belle AND Beast at Belle's Meet 'n Greet back when she had her own Christmas Village - it was a dream come true  :-[

Regarding Sulley DLP posted a picture of him on their instagram today and also someone else has posted a picture of a meet and greet next to where Mike is in the Studios... obviously I don't know if he was out today but it's obviously been reasonably recent (unless people are uploading super old photos!)
Title: Re: whose your favourite character?

^ That was actually an old photo.
He has not been out today nor recently.
If you actually look at the background, you can see that it was from Stars 'n Cars.
Which ended nearly a year ago.

Lottycolb - exactly what I thought ;D Unless a certain someone is the CEO of DLP or extremely high up within the company you can never tell 100%.

Who knows maybe they'll surprise us all - especially now Walt Disney Co have taken back ownership, hoping they're going to spread a little more magic like in the USA parks!

Personally hoping that my favourite Shellie May will be making more of a come back with the new merchandise they have - especially now I have Shellie and Duffy Ears!

My favourite princess to meet is always Aurora with Belle in close second ;D

But by far my favourite character to meet would have to be Lotso just because he's so goddamn huggable :3

Does he smell of strawberry? That would be epic!

I have a weird thing with talking characters - I met my first one aged 22 and hated every second, even as a kid I refused to meet the Princesses.

Oh my gosh yes please, can Disneyland make this happen? :o

Also my brother has a thing about meeting characters, I think he's just shy though  ::) (He only likes Pluto!)

I think ever since I was a kid I was a huge fan of anything to do with Pirates! Hook was a childhood heroe but now its the famous Captain Jack whos my fav...HOWEVER I was very dissapointed in Disney Land Paris's Jack Sparrow at halloween. He was quite rude to me and my wife because I was dressed up as Jack sparrow at the Halloween Soiree :(

I'd love to meet Clarabelle but despite being on the Spring and Halloween parades, I doubt that she would do meet and greets as she isn't as well known as the others.

I bought a figurine playset in the Disney Store the other week after seeing that it had Clarabelle in it. Imagine a 29 year old woman standing in DS saying "CLARABELLE IS IN THIS!!!!!!" and that was me.  ::) :-[

I also like Daisy and of course Minnie.

Out of the princesses, I love Belle (a book worm like me  ;D), Tiana and Snow White.

for me it has to be Mickey Mouse and then Pluto, but I love meeting all the characters, it is such a thrill to see it all become a reality.
I have to be honest though I prefer the characters to the actual people such as the Princesses and Princes etc although i'd still queue quite happily to see them  :D
